ELO - Mr Blue Sky
Beatles - Strawberry Fields
Gwen Stefani - Cool
Oasis - The Importance of Being Idle

These are my favourite songs of the week.

Oh, and I like

Babyshambles - Fuck Forever

Pete Doherty is a lyrical and fashion genius

This is what the man looks like. From what I gather hes a tortured genius and oxford graduate who is/used to be dating the supermodel Kate Moss. Formerly of the Libertines until he was kicked out for drug taking, he is now adored by his fans for his genius. He is also the type of person who could feature in newspaper headlines at his untimely death.

"Care Of Cell 44"~ The Zombies
"I Love You More Than You'll Ever Know"~ Blood, Sweat & Tears
"Love Comes To Everyone"~ George Harrison
"Nature Boy"~ Nat King Cole

As for music from this century... "I Know It Well"~ Ron Sexsmith

(I'm not much into today's music, but I'm open to suggestions)

These can change for me frequently, but the ones I listen to most often in the present are:

Beautiful Day- U2

Bad Moon Rising- CCR

Cruel To Be Kind- Nick Lowe

These Are Days- 10,000 Maniacs.

Dancing In the Moonlight- King Harvest

Those are my favorites of the moment. They can change, but those are the ones that I listen to most now.

Oh and I like Coldplay - Fix You. What a beautiful song. And even though its not my favourite genre, I like the energy of I'm not Okay by My Chemical Romance.

Also, any Oasis, any Nirvana, any Beatles would cause me to be very happy.

My current "play 20 times a day" songs:

HIM - Gone With The Sin
Negative - Neverending Parade
Nickelback - Figured You Out
Crossfade - Colors
Evanescence - Hello
Nine Inch Nails - The Hand That Feeds

and, oddly enough...

The Beatles - Eleanor Rigby.

The Beatles are brilliant. I've only started listening more extensively to Beatles stuff in the last year and i'd recommend it to anyone. I can't believe I only started to like Strawberry Fields, Magical Mystery Tour and Sgt Peppers Lonely Heart club within the last year.

Also The Who. My Generation is great. Older musis is often the best.

Anything by Jason Mraz. Funky name, awesome musician...
XOXO

Underoath - When The Sun Sleeps

HIM - Buried Alive By Love

Metallica - Battery

Curtis Mayfield - Move On Up (love this one)

Malkit Singh: Jind Mahi (I really have taken a liking to indian music as of late)

Bang! - "Shooting Star"
Ad-Man and Demo - "Pleasure and Pain"
Brisk & Trixxy - "Eyeopener" (Brisk '99 Remix)

They're all quite a bit faster than your probably used to, and very upbeat and uplifting tracks (from style of electronic music called "Happy Hardcore" )

And they all come highly recommended. 🙂

HIM---beautiful
clapton---wonderful tonight
depeche mode---i feel you
the cure---pictures of you
the beatles---happiness is a warm gun
bowie---ziggy stardust

Currrently, but not restricted to ... (no particular songs necesarily)

the CD Modus Vivendi by Tad Morose ("Anubis" kicks arse)

Astral Doors ("Time to Rock")

Ministry ("New World Order" ... how appropo nowadays)

Corrosion of Confomity ("Stonebreaker")

various others....

I've just heard Rammstein's new song, "Benzin", and I fucking love it. They are SOOOOO my favourite band.

The Beatles - Drive My Car
Frank Zappa & The Mothers of Invention - Inca Roads
Frank Sinatra - Fly Me To The Moon
Dave Brubeck - Take Five
Laura Brannigan - Self Control
Friends of Distinction - Grazin In The Grass
Spiral Staircase - More Today
Focus - Hocus Pocus
Edgar Winter Group - Frankenstein

Mimi knows what she’s talking about Evanescence & Nickelback ROCK!!!

Evanescence – Going Under (it’s a classic)
Nickelback – how you remind me (also a classic)
Kelly Clarkson - Since U Been Gone
Speedway - Genie in a bottle
Stars – Ageless beauty
Jem – Just a ride

:firedevil :firedevil :firedevil :firedevil :firedevil

Wheel of Fortune by the Flatlanders

Blame the Vain by Dwight Yoakam

Behind Blue Eyes by the Who (constant exposure to the recent Limp remake sent me back to the source and I bought the CD reissue of Who's Next , one of the finest rock albums ever recorded. I still have my old LP, but the CD, predictably, is fleshed out with bonus tracks.)

The Fields of Athenry by Frank Patterson

Currently:

Devil's Riff by Puny Human

Witches Chasing Cabs by Puny Human

Face Down by Axehandle

I like that Laura Brannigan song as well. Plus I'm listening to James (good early to mid 90's indie band with songs like Laid, Destiny Calling, Shes a star and sit down). On a similar note to Brannigan, i'm currently liking Toto Hold the line (also on grand theft auto soundtrack) and Billy Idol Rebel Yell.

Oh, Franz Ferdinands new song Do you Wanna? is just awesome. Not as good as Coldplay Fix you, as i said at the beginning of this thread.

The Beatles - Yesterday
Brad Paisley - Alcohol
Nixdorux - Ghost
And pretty much the entire Katamari Damacy soundtrack.

Yeah, my taste in music is varied, to say the least.

If you like that song at all, you have gotta try to catch at least the last ten minutes of the movie, "The Devil's Rejects", isabeau{E}! I gotta admit that alotta fine music, I just can't really hear anymore, in the sense that I've heard it so many times before, over so many years, it just doesn't have the same impact the 1001th time. Director Zombie did a fine-assed time of bringing this classic back from the dead for me with the finale of "T.D.R.". Movie's a rough watch though, so if you can't handle some gore and intense situations, best just catch the ending 10-15 mins.

never heard of that movie dr bill whats it about? and i'm not to thrilled with gore. but thanks
