Maybe someone can help explain why it seems that our 'feet' people (the majority of, mind you.) seem to be extremely finicky when it comes to feet.

Where as someone who prefers upper body seems to love all shape, size, color and curve?

What is it that deems a pair of feet 'worthy'??

Size difference between the big toe an the middle toe?

Nail alignment?

Pigmentation of the sole?

Specific instep size?

Feet are feet?! -- and some I've seen are blatantly unkempt.. but there have been a shitload of images of perfectly normal looking feet and a ton of folks deeming them nasty.

So what would you look for in persons feet?

While I adamantly deny being a "foot guy"...

...being in this community has definitely given me a depth of appreciation for them that I probably would never have had.

It's pretty simple math, to me at any rate, even as a non-fetishist. A pretty, well-maintained foot is much more desirable/pleasurable than (God, I can't believe I'm about to use this turn of phrase; forgive me) a "crusty-assed heel". That just goes without saying. The same could be said of ANY part of the anatomy. You either spend time on hygiene, or you don't.

Most ticklephiles with a tendency towards one body part or another have just as many preferences as foot guys, in my opinion.

Some belly button lovers prefer innies, others prefer outies, and so on. Some underarm enthusiasts like a little stubble, others don't.

I think the foot people get a bad rap around here, largely due to the misconception that if one member who likes feet is annoying / finicky / weird then they all must be.

Everyone has their preferences, I doubt most foot guys' are overly selective though. It's a lot like what people prefer in terms of physicality of significant others. I would prefer a tall, muscular brown-haired green-eyed genius comedian, but that is really narrowing it down and in turn, I accept people of all hair colors/eye colors / heights etc.

I think feet people (and underarm people and bellybutton people) have an idea of their perfect pair, but as long as the feet are clean (although some are into the dirty sole thing) and taken care of, most pod people will be happy.

and deriving a name from a woody allen movie... i just found that interesting lol.

Also, we have to remember that many people with foot fetishes need to have foot play present to achieve orgasm or even arousal.

Pleasure can become addictive so the more attractive the foot, in their opinion / perception, the better the orgasm.

If you require foot play for sexual activity, that be very frustrating since foot fetishes, while common, are not widely accepted, and when they are it's very likely that said foot could be non-ticklish or overly calloused. This, in turn, could pose a problem as a distraction for those that require foot action to become amorous.

In all seriousness, this is why i have a sincere belief that certain aspects of fetishism should be taught in the public school system.

someone can have a perfectly natural fascination with a certain body part and be scared for life by a person who doesn't understand the natural fixation for that person, or heaven forbid tries to RATION their foot enjoyment or manipulate them with it (been there done that).

its a shame that in a country this free we have to come to an online board to learn about who we are, even thouh there are those of us who do one hell of a job stating the facts as they are.

While I admit I'm a "foot person", I consider myself a "tickling person" first and foremost...especially since, for me, it's all about the reaction and the laughter (which for me puts the appearance of the foot in a secondary position). If a foot is ticklish, that's enough for me, regardless of physical appearance (that's not to say that matters of hygiene or extreme anatomical abnormalities can't factor into the equation, just like any other intimate activity). In other words, I think there should be a distinction between a foot fetishist, a tickler with a foot fetish and a tickler who just prefers to tickle feet (for whatever reason). I'm not making a judgment about any category...just trying to point out that everyone is different. There are all sorts of tickling sub-genre's out there, so it's impossible to stereotype or generalize about any of them, including the "foot people".

To add a few points...

In my specific experience...

Guys I have known (as well as women that like tickling or foot play) that are into feet want:

1. Our feet to be ticklish... laughter and / or sexual response
2. For us to enjoy being tickled, so we allow them to consistently tickle us... even ask for it. Yes I do.
3. Our feet to be seductive, as in "suckable" and soft.
4. Size preference I guess does exist, as stated in the thread, but 1-3 seem to matter most.

Never had a man into feet or tickling neglect my feet for being TOO small.

I can't change my foot size, but I can keep my feet soft and I hope seductive... and available

Just about any size, width, and color is fine. As long as her feet are well taken care of. She gets a big plus if her feet are ticklish. The more ticklish, the better; I can enjoy it more. She gets another big plus if her arches have those crinkles and lines on them (if you know what I mean).

That pretty much sums it up. I actually just responded to a similar comment you made on another thread CL. As Annie said as long as their not horribly unkempt I really am not picky. But, it does make me laugh sometimes that we have a class of "foot connoisseurs" out there. But, meh, whatever floats your boat. Live and let live, that's my philosophy.

Another stigma I believe "foot guys" receive is that feet are all they're into. Which can lead to the "creepy" image that society can get associated with the fetish. To me feet are merely another part of a woman to love and don't really hold precedence over other parts. Although, it may be that way for some, but as I said to each his own.

I don't know too much about it. I like my feet though. I think they're cute. But... I've met at least one guy who didn't. Said my feet were too fat. Those weren't his words but that's what he was saying and that's all good. I'm a big, curvy girl... with big... curvy feet.

Some people are very picky and want their dream soles (or something close) and nothing else. Some people enjoy all the different shapes and sizes that feet come with, I suppose. Some people like to sniff them. Some people like to lick them. Some people like to tickle them. Some people like a combination of those things.

My point being... No one will ever have the perfect, goddess pair of feet that every man wants. You're gonna get a "thanks but no thanks" someday. Can't please everyone.

As a general rule, if I like how the rest of her looks I will like her feet assuming they are ticklish of course. There was this one leg/foot porno mag I was looking at years ago (one of the many Leg Show knock-offs) where there was this super-cute blonde who had really rough beat up feet from being a dancer for years. But I'd sure still tickle them if they happened to still be ticklish after all that abuse. If I find the woman to be good looking in general (and I have a wide range of types of women I find good looking), she would have to have just hideous, traveling freak show looking feet for me to not be interested in them.
