The editors are quite moronic. First of all, for called interest in feet "depraved". Second of all, for thinking that it began in the 13th century. I'm quite sure that there were people with an erotic interest in feet many thousands of years ago. The foot is one of the most sensitive, nerve-laden parts of the human body and it is natural to be interested in stimulating it.
