For Americans Only

Canada....

Just can't beat Toronto and vicinity for quality of life.

Q

I'm not particularly picky, but.......

Anywhere that has warm, mild weather year-round,
Friendly people,
No income tax,
Respectful of privacy

Is an all right country with me😀

Is that Utopia or what?????

I'd pick either Spain or Germany. I've heard great stuff about both

If not for the harsh weather, I'd have been in Canada now for quite some time...I had a wonderful time there in the brief time I stayed there as a teen, and I could see myself living there very easily!
I don't know if I could live in the UK on a permanent basis, but I could see myself there on an open ended one, that's for sure...

Switzerland

Les CHuisses were kind enough in a cold sort of way. And with magnificent mountains and clean streets and air, it beats the polluted world in major metropolises over here.

I suppose I'd have to say the UK. Not for the simple fact that the language is almost the same. Hell, I have a southern accent, no one there would understand me anyway!

I've just always had an itch to see the UK. Feel a certain gravity toward the place. As far as choosing a particular type of living space...maybe some out of the way country town where history still lives.

Always fancied an Irish cliffside as well. *shrug*

Then there's always Greenland.

LMAO 😛
I don't even like winters in NY City. The thought of Greenland ... BRRRRRRRRRRRR. 😛

Curacao in the Dutch Antilles.

I've never been there, but I'm sure it's lovely. Plus, it's Frrrrrrrrrrrreezing up here, so anywhere warm would be great!

Japan. I am moving there soon anyhow, wish I was already there!

Australia!!! i love the accent, and im DYING to see a kangeroo!!!!!!! lol....hey, at least it's warm down there!!!!

Easy one!

Canada! No doubt about it... I love that place. I've spent many a weekend in Toronto, and the people impress me every time with their friendliness, their intelligence, and their government. And their beer. Ohhh, yes, their beer.... 😀

Open-mindedness isn't just a catchphrase to pay lip service to, in Canada, either. Which I find quite nice.

Canada, because I hear it's very similar to america, I've lived here all my life and I'm just to used to it here.

Other than that, I'd say the UK or Hong Kong.

Thank God you didn't say no doot aboot it! LOL... it is a great place to live.... just not right now! We're gonna get over a foot of snow tonight!!! 😱

My sentiments exactly. I remember I didn't want to leave. I even inquired about Landed Immigrant Status.
Here's something else that isn't just a catchphrase to pay lip service to: with Canadians, the Rule of Law is a fact! It's something they really believe in up there. Here in the United States, they talk about the Rule of Law, they pompously pontificate about it, but in fact, we have the rule of Men. Think about it.

The original Australian "criminals" were in reality petty one time thieves, usually men or women who had stole food.

Considering the status as landowners and sheep farmers that many of them rose to, they did a hell of a lot better than the ones who were sent to Wormwood Scrubs!!!

If I had to leave england, my destination would depend on what I wanted to achieve. If I wanted to blow my mind and enjoy the company of like-minded lunatics, it'd be the USA. If I wanted to escape the madness the world is descending into (sadly not an option, because I'm trying to do my bit in digging it out of it) then it'd be Oz or New Zealand. Many barefooted honeys! 😀 Being barefoot is almost a fashion statement in New Zealand.

Near a certain member's country cottage perhaps? 😀 😛

I have relatives who own a massive brewery in Canada. 😀

Come to NY City, and you may fit right in; there are lots of lunatics here. 😀

Funnily enough Mil, there is a strong chance of me having a week's holiday to the US later this year. Myself and two or three friends are going to be going to Orlando for a lads vacation. Any of us who happen to be in that locality during that period would be a blast to hook up with.

I will be flying to Forida on March 13, and flying back to NY City on March 19. Does that overlap your stay in Florida? I'll be in Vero Beach, about a 90 minute drive from Orlando. 😀

Sadly mate, I won't be in the country until October/November time. And that's always allowing the FBI hasn't given me the same classification as they did John Lennon for all my conspiracy posts. 😀

Acchhh, that's a long way off, 9 or 10 months. Too bad.

Ah, bugger it. Not to worry Mils, there'll be other times.
