For those who drink tea

chai is my favorite.

being a southern girl originally, i always have iced tea in my fridge.
living in the north now, it's unsweetened and usually a combination of green tea with a flavored tea. i like variety so i have chai, ginger, peppermint, lemon, etc.

Ah, yes. I met a woman from the southern US who taught me how to make sun-brewed tea. Amazing! Impossible to make in Scotland, it doesn't get hot enough here.

Doesn't need to be hot, necessarily. It will just take longer. You just need warmish sunny day. You have sun in Scotland occasionally don't ya?

Try it. You just need a one gallon, clear glass jar/container. Put in water and 4-6 teabags. If you want it really yummy, add a few mint teabags too. Put it in the sun all day. Add sugar to taste.

At my cafe we serve Harney and Son's brand tea. My fav so far is the African Autumn, which has orange and cranberry in it. So delish.

We serve Tazo tea as well, which I believe was mentioned earlier, but so far the only Tazo I've tried is their chai concentrate, which is awesome +2. I've also tried chai in tea bag form, and it's not as strong but I almost like it more subdued like that.

I favor a lightly sweetened, cold green tea. Quenches my thirst better than pop or juice. If it's a hot tea, I like green or black.

I also like Bolthouse Farm's vanilla chai situation they have going on for themselves. You can find it in the cold, individual drinks section. I usually see it at Kroger, Meijer, and Walmart.

Thanks for all the responses. Part of the reason I asked the question was to learn about other tea out there that I can try in the future. I didn't realize chai was so popular.

As far as iced tea goes...I like sweet (duh, I'm in NC)..as well as the diet blueberry green tea that Arizona makes.

As for hot tea, I usually prefer something herbal with a fruity taste. If I'm sick, Chammomile with a refreshing mint. I try to stay away from Black and Green teas because they dry you out.
