For Those Who Use Facebook A Lot

I'm just curious as to the possibility of there being a Facebook or MySpace version of TMF? It would still be everything we love about TMF, but in Facebook form. Just a thought

There are facebook groups, but a lot of times activity appears to non-member friends on your timeline. Nobody wants to inadvertently show all their friends how they're on foot mongler pages.

A non-obvious, member locked tickling group would work though. I've seen people say they use "knismesis" and "gargalesis" as humiliation free codewords. Though I guess there's always the risk of weird people having relatively easy access to everyones real life information (tickle fetishists with little to no social skills behaving oddly? Not unheard of!) as well.

Well I have a Fetlife account, but Fetlife is irritating to me. I have some tickling/foot friends, but a majority of the ones around me where I live want beating and shit I'm not into.

Then I get the messages that, despite my profile says I'm asexual, they ask me to do all kinds of things I won't mention here due to inappropriate suggestions. So it's not for me

I guess that's one way of looking at it. These days social networking and what's enabled for people to see makes me leary because most people rather judge you from your social media rather than who you are. It's not about the fetishes sometimes, it's about all sorts of topics; people can see what you've "liked" or what groups you've joined by default. Plus, all the mobile notifications on each group have to be disabled. Cool you're lax about the Facebook shit tho.

I have been in rage mode in all aspects of my life these days. Usually I try to steer clear of expletives. This thread touched a nerve with me because of other aspects of my life related to social media. I am a pretty honest guy. Good bad or ugly, I communicate what I have thought and experienced to my friends. This was the case when I went through my suicidal spells, my ever present low self esteem, lack of intimacy, and so forth.

I figure in terms of authenticity, I am probably up there. Most folks usually make their lives seem much more fruitful than they are in reality. I take a different approach. I share and post what I truly believe represents me and my life. I have mentioned my fetishes and what not on FB. I haven't gone out of my way to do fetish video review or anything though.

Recently, off and online I have revealed my fetish and fantasy problems directly to the subject of those fantasies and such. My original post, which was made during a heighten - yet unrelated - state of agitation, was to say if people make wild assumptions then who cares. If they shun you because of your fetish, they probably aren't worth having around in the first place.

There is too much shit in this world, to have to also worry about hiding a significant part of your life. Let's face it, if one belongs to a fetish forum anonymously that would suggest that the fetish is a significant them.
