Don't make such a big deal over web statistics, and don't make piddly little threats about someday being better than everyone else. One day, I hope to be a published writer, and I have a damn good novel on which I'm currently working, but I'm not about to walk up to, say, Neil Gaiman and tell him that a year from now, I'll surpass him in book sales. That's just, well, dumb and in poor taste, and cocky in a way that's far worse than bragging. It's like bragging about something you haven't even done.

Don't turn things into a "my dick's bigger" competition. It's one thing to mention where you stand, and another to argue over standings.

Don't alienate your target audience by getting all defensive when they criticize you. If they're disappointed with the information you've given them to help them decide whether to buy your product, telling them you don't have to listen to them is probably one of the best ways to completely disinterest them. You don't have to bend to their every desire, and you don't have to give away your whole video, but you should at least demonstrate the features that will compel people to buy. Otherwise, you might as well just, I dunno, show them pictures of ducks or something, 'cause it'll be just as effective.

Don't blow up at critics, regardless of what tactics they take in argument. Getting all spazzy when someone--especially a competitor--is critical of you or your product is extremely unprofessional. Honestly, based on your personality alone, I wouldn't be at all interested in purchasing your product.

What does it matter if the producer appears in the films? I can understand such a comment as a playful egging on, but as an attempt at professional criticism, it comes across as childish boasting. Producer and actor are two different jobs. You wouldn't tell the producer of a Ron Jeremy film that they have to get fucked by him before they can be respected.

Anyway, just an entirely unprofessional attitude. However anyone else acts, it doesn't give you a free ticket to fly off the handle. Nobody's impressed.

No matter what people say in this forum, postive or negative it will continue to improve my product past beyond the point of satisfaction and into an area of superiority. Some of you may argue that there is too much talking in the intro of the clip in this thread, without buying the full clip. OK.

You complain when people invest their time and effort into offering a FREE contribution when it doesn't suit your personal tastes yet when looking at the same usernames I see those same people putting NOTHING back into this community. Contributing and giving for FREE does feel good, but at the same time it is my right to edit the free material in anyway that I see fit.
