Myriads, you seem very knowledgeable about the inner mechanisms of content production. This may be a dumb question, but I get the impression that you probably have a tickling website. If so, what is the URL? I'd like to check it out.
But of course, my tickling website is
here.
Ah, I couldn't resist. Back? Honestly, this is all that I'm involved with in this fetish. I'm only here as a manager to make the cogs turn, and make sure squeeky wheels are oiled.
My knowledge comes from having spent a lot of time talking to a lot of people in this industry who do produce tickling videos, and folks in other fetish areas that have also. After a decade of it, I have gained a pretty good overall perspective on it, and the problems that are unique to it.
Like many small businesses, a video company faces the same problems of organization, marketing, and cash flow that others do. I've seen enough, and been close to many who have run such that I've had a lot of insight there also. It can all be applied to a fetish video company.
I've also seen what some companies have done right over the years, and what has killed others. Lessons I remember, even if I was only auditing the 'class'.
Put it all together, and I have a pretty good overview on the field. Add in the knowledge I pick up running this place and I even have a good idea of the market. Makes me look like I know and do more then I have.
🙂
As to it being overly costly in dollars or time to expand your line, if it is, don't. It's not worth the risk. Such things are best done when there is breathing room to absorb the costs. Demand is fickle, and while a good, high quaility video, from a non tickling producer WILL make it's investment back in time, that time might be measured in years.
