In all honesty, do you guys really think that girls are creeped out by tickling? I know from reading many posts on this forum and in real life experience that most girls hate to be tickled, but does that mean tha it would considered perverted or wierd to bring the subject of tickling up in a casual conversation? And ladies, please contribute your opinions on the matter. At what point do you think someone would be crossing the line from curious friend to creepy stalker/tickler "this guy is way too interested in this stuff, get away from me" I mean, i feel like girls in general would be more willing and open to talking about tickling or getting briefly tickled than some jackass friend trying to cop a feel, ya know? Just thinking out loud. I ask mainly because theres a lot of cute girls that I know and im dying to know if theyre ticklish, but i dont want to creep them out.

To be perfectly honest, I'm a firm believer in the, "It's not creepy until you make it creepy," logic. If you consider tickling a girl and instantly wonder if it's a creepy move, I wouldn't recommend doing it. Then again, girls usually know when you're just being playful and when you're being a creeper.
I suggest being relaxed, give them a prod, and if they don't do more than swat you away, feel free to continue in moderation. Just don't go overboard, or you're likely going to be dubbed a creeper in that moment, in my opinion. All women are different, after all, and you know these women better than I do. Use your own judgment.

Most girls are going to think your tickling fetish is cute, if anything.
As long as you aren't staring at her feet, drooling, with your penis bulging out of your pants, and panting, "CAN I TICKLE YOUR FEET??" --you should be fine.

Besides, when you really think about it...
Our love of tickling is sexual for us (most of us) and just the word "tickle" can turn us on, right?
But to most vanilla people tickling = flirting. And that's it.
So you've got some cute girls you want to tickle? Do it, because it's just going to come off as flirting--unless you go overboard with it and I think that's pretty much common sense there.

^ Pretty much what Aimee said. And LadyNerd too.

It's all about the approach. If it's fun and cute, I think more than likely it'll be received as such. 🙂

"It's not creepy until you make it creepy,"

This.

Poking a friend (FRIEND) you're curious about in the ribs from behind to get her attention is not creepy. There you go. Curiosity satisfied. Provided you actually have something to say after she turns around of course other than, "OMG that gave me such a boner and the reason is I have a tickling fetish do you wanna talk about it?"

The other scenarios are, like Aimee said, common sense.

It depends. If you do it a lot, all the time, often....then it will most likely be suspicious and start being creepy. But if it's done casually every now and then, oh well....although, talking about tickling more than once should come off as being a little weird because it's just not a topic that's interesting enough to be brought up. 😉

And then it also depends how much the girl really dislikes it (some people dislike it so much it will make them uncomfortable even talking about it), and how much the girl dislikes YOU!

Based on some vanilla interactions I've seen between men and women, this may indeed be a common problem in our little subset.

Just don't make a big deal about it.

I get away with doing it fairly often - because I don't go overboard, or make it awkward.

Damn - that's exactly the man I'm looking for! STOP DISCOURAGING THEM!!!

Okay srsly, everyone has basically hit the nail on the head. I've had vanilla guy friends and even friend's boyfriends tickle me, sometimes fairly often, and no one ever thought it was weird or even commented on it. A few seconds after it was over someone changed the subject and we went about our day. Good luck!

As much as I love tickling, I have met some REALLY creepy guys (not many, but some). LadyNerd really did state it perfectly. It has more to do with personality, quirks, and the lack of the ability to be social and charming in public.

THEN- It is the ability to NOT sound like you want to take my feet home with you. (In a bag without the rest of my body)

I concur with this statement!

Because tickling sexually excites me, I never playfully tickle friends... kinda makes me feel perverted, like a creeper "wrestling" with someone for cheap feels.

Tickling is only in the realm of the sexual for me, and I keep it there. Kinda why this fetish is still such a hangup for me.

A girl I work with has started this game involving us winding each other up, usually sending sarcastic emails to one another. Just last week we were heading back to work and she blocked the entrance to the door trying to be a smartass, so I gave her a quick tickle to move her out the way.
The result being that I found out she was ticklish and after her telling me she couldn't stand being tickled, I just said I'll remember that in future and nothing more was said.

To me thats the best way to go about it. If you do tickle a girl don't make a big deal out of it, and keep it brief, especially in public.
