goat's tongue

I've read many times on the internet (and even in books) about a purported "tickle-torture" that involved coating a victim's feet in various substances (salt, molasses, honey) and enticing an animal (usually a goat) to lick the soles to its heart's content.

Have you heard about this, and do you think it would be effective?

As far as I heard it existed, but apparently it would only tickle at first and the actual intention of it was it would eventually peel skin off of the feet because goat tongues are like sandpaper.

That's what I've read as well, that it would eventually cause extreme pain, not tickling. 😱

dogs + peanut butter... they get bored enough with it when the pb is gone.. so you at least get to keep the flesh

I wouldn't depend on any animal to lick the feet long enough to make it torture. They've tried this goat-thing in a German show not too long ago, and it didn't work. The goats licked a little. bit the victims in their toes and then just went away.

Our dog loves to lick feet...but he won't keep to the licking and starts biting down very quickly. No fun at all.
