Rogue dragons don't have rules applicable to them and Darkness in any form only helps me.

If you have no rules applied darkness does not help you. After all unless you have rules on such things black dragons are not evil, not dark, and not smart buggers...
And does that help with 100ft boats dropping on you anyway? Filled with creatures of darkness.

*zooms out from underneath the boat at the last second before it crashes into the ground.* Intriguing. *lands and stretches out a bit* I have no more fight with you, Watcher.

Indeed, combat tires when there is a lack of adversaries *Looks down upon the still half-frozen Excess and Socks.* +Then drops another Ark of Darkness on them both+

That, and we'll be back and forth anyway with attacks, blocks, counter-attacks, etc.

Yep, gotta have someone else to break the fact it has to be two-way fight. Unless one of them summons up huge expendable armies that can be literally shot to hell and back fo...Well Sod.

*nods* Plus, I don't know what the hell you and the others are talking about with all of these summons and such.

It varies. Most of them use those one-shot summons out of Final Fantasy ot Golden Sun games which are literally in-game a case of I summon this monster, it attacks, then goes.
Also many of these summons are limited to attacking with a single element, I.E. the shiva FF summon deals ice damage alone.

I.E. Bahamut is a summon from FF, which got used a while back here, as summons go its powerful, but if it fails to do anything, you don't get a second attack.

I however prefers to summon creatures with more of a lifespan, drawing them from any of the webcomics I find online, or in one (technically three, but they go together) case a manga. Those creatures will simply attack, defend and move like you would here until defeated or sacrificed.
They may or may not be limited in their damage forms.
I.E. My magi girl, who threw out loads of spells and probably did more colateral damage than the other guy's summons put together, by herself.

As you can tell, I prefer my way. Sure it involves a little imagination since really they should be played as the characters, but they do cause so much more chaos...

And summoning (if you wanted to know): To bring a creature from elsewhere to the immediate area, ususally for the purpose of having it do some task for you.
Not a dictionary quote, but I'd wager it's pretty close...

Ah, never got a chance to play those games.

Pretty much the same here, but with two differences:
1) I played (and beat) FF Tactics Advance
2) I played (and got bored/annoyed) Golden Sun 1/FF 1&2 for the GBA.

Actually is the GBA version of FF 1&2 the real (original Japanese) 1&2 or the American 1&2? Anyone?

I see.

I have an idea of what you mean with Golden Sun, Watcher. I beat both Golden Sun and Golden Sun 2 and the best thing I found about it was the story line and the awesome battle graphics in terms of the spells, summons and special attacks from weapons. (Story line was very, very good I found) BUT, it can be very repetitive and if you get stuck somewhere or don't do something in a certain order, ur STUCK THERE! Still, aside from that, I found both of the games to be absolutely outstanding.

Agreed 120%! And I found it funny how Isaac was a mute in GS, but then in GS2 was quite the chatterbox. Maybe after I've finished my new games I'll go back through those, all this talk about them makes me want to play them again.

and on that note:

*prepares to summon Catastrophe and Eclipse*

Hmmm...I'll spread destruction too. *prepares to summon Charon and Iris at the same time as dogg summons Catastrophe and Eclipse*

*using telepathy

oO{It's a good thing I don't need to say anything to summon them, all I need are the respective Djinni. Now, without further ado}Oo

*Dogg first summons Catastrophe and, in a thunderstorm, electrical energy surges to the tip of it's sword and is released upon the thread in the form of dragon-shaped thunderbolts. Dogg then summons Eclipse, who flies into space just outside Earth's atmosphere and fires a massive beam of energy from its mouth, causing damage comparable to that of Judgment's.*

(maybe a bit too long, but descriptive! 🙂)

*Takes the moment to follow suit. First summons Charon, and the seal is broken, releasing the boatsman of the river Styx. Charon then fires a massive ball of dark energy, covering everything within sight in a dark explosion, doing massive damage.*

*still prepared to summon again*

Ack! Eye Gouge!!! CHEAP SHOT!!!! 😛

and flamed you would have been! 😛

*due to usage of Catastrophe and Eclipse, Dogg's stats are temporarily lowered until Djinni recharge*

Hey, I never commented on the GS graphics. I did not say I thought they were excellent. I merely said I got bored early on with them. But then the hero side-monster side stand-off screen fights have never appealed to me and got boring. That was my complain, and lies with me, not the game itself. FFTA on the other hand...suffice to say I enjoyed it in every way needed.

*Look at approaching surges, explosion blast-radiai, and waves of energy* Oh, crap. +Wraps self in Prismatic shield effect, as said manifestations flow over.+

+Unleashes 'Death from Above' on everyone else. You each get a cat landing on your heads and clawing at you.+

*quickly uses the "Disappear" Wind Djinni and becomes invisible, the cat falling to the ground and walking away in confusion. Dogg then reappears.*

Time to bend some rules! No more nice doggy!!!

*Dogg unsheathes two swords, and carries them with both hands. The two swords are the Sol Blade and Excalibur.*

*darkness falls everywhere and my fury is made known throughout the universe. Villiages destroyed, Chaos and Havoc wreaked on the countryside, buildings burst into flames, and crops ruined.* Be Ye Forewarned: No one messes with this dragon EVER AGAIN!
