it hasn't been fun, so i have decided to leave.
i hope some of you find happiness, and all the tickling your hearts desire,( and your flesh can take, hehehe).

I have come to the conclusion that this place has its ups and downs, just like life. Things get better, stick around.

His problem is the same one that many people have, but he just got sick of it first.

It's this juvenile insulting behavior that can't let something happen without smarmy commentary. Too many so-called adults seem to be acting more like 14 year old pimply faced boys.Certain folks can't let the chance of insult pass them by and it grates on everyone's nerves. Jsut because a clique of them exist doesn't mean it's appropriate behavior. Many people have learned to ignore the hateful posters, while others just get totally fed up with the assinine attitudes that surface just because soemone disagrees.

But, then again, that's just my opinion.

I can understand why he says it is not fun. Sometimes the crap overshadows what should all be fun. I too left for a while because I had some personal things to take care of. I came back because I feel I still have a lot that needs to be said.

Couldn't have said it better, Steve. Some people do not live by the golden rule. I don't try to change 'em, I just ignore 'em. Their behavior only hurts their reputations among the rest of us who have learned to behave better.

My theory is that some of these guys act the way they do because in real life they're too cowardly to confront issues. This forum is kind of a "whipping boy" for them, where they can safely take pot shots at others just for their self-aggrandizement.

Take a break if you need to, but do come back!

How right you are. Just look at AMT. I do not condone this behavior though and feel people like this should seek help immediately. It used to bother me a lot when I saw this kind of stuff happening. Now, I just pity these people. This is SUPPOSED to be a fun place.
Good thing I am able to laugh at it and feel the pity I do for them. Especially since I am now a headline topic at AMT. 😀

For what it's worth Eric, I know for a fact that Steve left for a good reason, not merely to be dramatic or cause attention. IF he decides to come back it'll be for HIS reasons and the situation won't be helped by anyone attempting to be smug and saying "I told you so." He left because he was genuinely bothered about something, not because it would look fine and dandy.
 
Venray1, I have tried quieting that noise for some time its no use.
 
Sometimes it would do EVERYONE a bit of good if we all thought before posting.....those with brains to do so that is........🙄
