Holy crap! I agree with Tron, Iggy and Red in one day?

I would have worded it nicer, but it's basically true, at least as far as not taking trivial things too seriously. We all have real lives outside of this. Some of us are more vested in it, for sure, but there are many facets of life. Nothing that happens on the TMF is going to affect the outcome of your life, your ability to reproduce, your sense of smell, taste in clothes, blood alcohol level, brain capacity, fear of bugs or that not-so-fresh feeling.

It's all relative. You wanna have fun here? Great! You wanna leave? Hey, follow your Path. There are friends to be made, if you're so inclined. If not, you don't have to. Some people are more private than others. Diversity it what makes our community special.

And eat your vegetables, they're good for you. 😎

Also.. I eat a salad with about 15 types of veggies everyday. So I heartily agree with eat your veggies.

Destiny, just because a particular thread or two only ellicits a response of a handful of posts doesn't mean you should leave. It doesn't pass judgement on ANYONE here either, whether they are religious or not. If they are, they may have read, inwardly digested and said something privately in their prayers.(Like Steve.) If they weren't, they might just have had the people mentioned by Kurch in their thoughts for a few moments. The atheists closest equivalent to a prayer I guess.

Or they could just be like me and be completely unaware of either thread's existence. I spend between 30 and 120 minutes on the TMF each day I'd say, which is a lot more than most casual users and about a tenth of the time HisDivineShadow does.🙂D) Now if someone like me who spends a lot of time here can miss them perfectly innocently, don't you think that other people who only spend 10 or 20 minutes would stand even less chance of spotting them?

Did you actually think that that's what might have happened? I know that you're broken up inside right now over what's happened, but accusing perfectly innocent and decent people who've done nothing bad or uncaring of being both those two things isn't going to earn you any positive karma, yanno?
Did you PM or e-mail anyone you've mentioned in the same breath as the words "Seeing the prayer request go down hill, ignored : so what you don't know that person. One day we all are going to need prayer and when someone comes up and puts up a request for prayer I wonder how many will respond?" and ask them if they'd seen the threads in question? I know you didn't let me know about them, so I'm assuming you didn't with QBWeaver, Mimi, Prime Time , Sarlox , Gen. Zod, Venraya, Moses and Josie either.

If you post links to the two prayer threads here, I'll definatley read them and post myself if I can think of an appropriate response. I'd also like to know just when and about what she sent up a prayer for me. 🙂 If it's a private message, you can PM me via the Forum if you'd like.

You're right Big Jim it isn't! Thank you to all of those who want me to stay, I was having a hard time and I wasn't thinking clearly when I posted this. Big Jim, I did try to PM but couldn't. I did PM several about what I posted. If it is alright with the TMF's staff and members I would like to stay. Thank you to all of those who supported me and shown me kindness. Destiny

I'd like to agree with Neutron and co here on this too, but alas, I fear that my home may be hit by a comet were I ever to post such a thing.

*sigh*....I honestly can't relate to this issue, I've been coming to this forum for a good year or so, but never as an avid poster. Hence, I don't have any strong connections with this place, therefore it would never bothewr me if I ever felt compelled to leave. And personaly, I think thats the best way to approach such boards...why get so attached to a web-page? Surely the're are freinds in the real world that require you're *actual* attention and goodwill? Sometimes I find myself spending too long browsing these forums, and hell, I hardly ever post on them lol, so go figure.

Oh shit. I just agreed with Neutron. I think i'm going to go back to reading Don Q and await my impending doom....
