I read this in another fourm. I'd like to know where they're getting the porn and how they're funding this little event. Seems like a wasted effort to oust religion; kind of like those "TRUTH" campaigns that try to get people to stop smoking.

This is kind of funny, but I don't quite get what the point is....

I mean, if you're willing to trade a bible for porn, you're probably not very religious to begin with. And when you consider that the Bible remains one of the most printed books ever, it's not like Bibles will somehow become less common.

So, in effect, they're targeting people who just want porn, not the religious. And considering that you can get porn for free on the internet, I guess that narrows the target audience down to people without internet or people too dumb to realize this.

It does serve to get one thinking though. I, a self-proclaimed athiest, just looked to the right of me and spotted 3 Bibles and a New Testament with Psalms. Two New King James versions, an Old King James version with dictionary and concordance, and the New Testament and Psalms is a Revised Standard Version. Plus I know I have at least two other Bibles lurking around somewhere.

The only other religious texts I have are in a single textbook which I had to buy for one of my university classes. Perhaps the idea behind this scheme is to balance out the faiths?
