Just found a store on clips4sale called Crucifiedwomen, and just for curiosity, I clicked on it. I happen to like this special position for tickling purposes.

The store offers more than 60 clips of yummy girls tied to the cross in very tempting positions, but NONE OF THEM shows any tickling! Quite in contrary, many of them are outright ghoulish, extreme torture.

Sometimes I wonder whether our love for tickling is really that weird and unusual. Several shops offer hundreds of foot fetish or bondage clips, but no tickling at all, although these two are the most closely related fetishes to tickling.

What a waste of brilliant opportunities!!!

Believe it or not, no. The crucifixion described for Jesus was unusual: the Romans usually used rope rather than nails (iron was expensive), and usually just hung the condemned from the crosses and left them there.

At the risk of being gruesome, real crucifixion kills by suffocation. The body's weight hanging on the arms like that makes it very hard for the chest to expand. Most died in a day, two at most. It was deliberately intended to be a lingering, nasty form of execution.

I'm not religious, so it's just another symbol to me. Though I think an X-frame serves the same purpose, and is just as awe inspiring as far as bondage devices go. If anything it emulates spread eagle, so it's far more erotic to me.

Though the cross does have similar posture as some stock/rack combinations. So I can see why it would float someones boat. 🙂

From my experience, a bondage position with horizontally stretched arms makes the armpits and ribs even more vulnerable to tickling than the X-spread, at least when it comes to digging into them.

I respect the religious feelings of those who feel offended by the depiction of crucifying. However, as Redmage correctly mentioned, it was quite a normal way of death penalty, seen historically. The fact that the Christian religion revolves around crucifying makes it special for believers; yet to me, it's just another bondage position, so sorry.
