hi this is my 5th pic that i gave a back story.

this poor man was diving with his air line when he came upon a sunken city.
he swam towards it but as he got close he felt something slither past him.
tentacles wrapped around him and held him tight.
his air mask was still on so that he could breath.
then he got a glimpse of his attacker.
a small shelled creature. he recognized it as a Nautilus.
it's tentacles made their way to
his feet.
they twitched around his sensitive soles.
the torture went on for hours.
the creature was teaching him to never return to the hidden city........

this is my most complex art, so i would appreciate ANY comment you have.
thank you

I like the concept. Mythic defenders of dead civilizations. Fun.

Wow! That was quick work! Remarkable semblance of a chambered nautilus; I recognized it instantly (nautili are a rather charming branch of the mollusk family; colorfully cute, and both gregarious and inquisitive from what I hear)! This newest picture benefits tremendously from its expanded environment: the Greek-like city ruins, gritty sea floor and coral clump (with it's suggestion of a concealed spectator!) offer fine spacial juxtaposition for the characters, blending them nicely into the scene! Far more effective as tableau (as opposed to an isolated character study), the hostilities of outre landscape and crushing depth add an edge of thrilling peril to the diver's pestered plight! Does the nautilus intend, at last, to let him go? Will he laugh hard enough to spit out his breathing hose? In a less compellingly complete rendering, we might not care quite so much!

thanks again for your kind words low roads.

thank you very much myriads.
for someone of your stature to take the time to comment on my work really means a lot.

thank you both of you!!!!
