Guys,, Do Your Beards Grow Quickly At Certain Times?

I dont know if this happens to other guys, but..

I didnt shave for two days, before shaving this morning, because I was just home doing work yesterday, so no reason to.

I usually shave before I go out, and did so today.

Tonight, my facial hair seems really thick.

My maternal grandfather used to talk about "Five O Clock Shadow",

The thing is.. this facial hair I',m having, seems thicker than usual.

Some friends I've had with darker hair,.. always say/ said that my beard never looks (ed) nearly as thick as theirs did/does.

Gods yes, for some damn reason I get facial hair over night it seems!

It's really not fair because I have no interest in growing or maintaining a beard or mustache.

Yeah I pretty much have to shave on a daily basis. Until I upgraded to the best razor that dollar shave club has to offer my face was constantly getting cut and razor burn.

I've always shaved with an electric razor. The few times I' ve used the blade, I've either actually cut myself, or it burns after shaving, so I use the electric.. since I'm a teenager. also taught to me by my grandfather, who also always used an electric.

Ah DebonairDamsel, it seems the grass is always greener... I can't grow facial hair to save my life. I shave maybe twice a week, if that. I've tried growing a mustache before and a 15 year old would be ashamed of it. I don't care much, I like being clean shaven, but it would be nice to have the option.
Don't really have much body hair either. But I don't want you guys thinking I'm some little girly man. I've always been strong, tall and athetic. Just sayin

One of the reasons that I grew a beard is that I had to shave twice a day whenever I went out in the evening.
It was not variable, from about age 16 I had heavy beard growth every day. With my almost black hair, I definitely had five o'clock shadow.

Now, I just have a barber trim my beard once a month. 😀

Gods I'm so freaking jealous now. I hate having so much body / facial hair. In fact, one of my nicknames in school was "werewolf" because I had hair all over my legs, arms, chest, and face. Ugh, I hate having so much hair because it ITCHES ALL THE DAMN TIME! LOL.

Also, no worries SensualSwitch10. I don't think men without hair are girly. Hell, there are plenty of really muscular male models out there who have no body hair whatsoever. I want to know how they do it to be honest. LOL.

As far as I can tell, my facial hair grows at a pretty constant and average rate. What’s annoying though, as someone who prefers the hairy face look, is that while I can grow a mean tash and a decent chin (and neck) beard, it’s a bit sparse on the ol’ cheeks… Which means I’m unable to grow a full “now that’s what I call a beard!”-type beard. It’s the great ongoing tragedy of my life. lol

I tried to grow a stache when I was 18, it looked like a 14 year old tried to grow it. Over the years, I have grown a goatee, and this past winter, I have grown a full beard. It is not very thick, but it is full. I try and keep it trimmed pretty short because if I don't, in spots it looks like I have mange.

I am wondering whether I should shave it, but each time I mention it, my kids say I'd look strange without it. I will probably go back to the goatee for summer.

Mine is more noticeable after periods of heavy drinking.

Also seems to grow quicker during the hotter periods.

I don't like it if it gets beyond stubble because a) it itches and b) it starts to go ginger, which does not match any other hair on my body
