Ah, thank you, everyone, for your kind words. I'm sorry to type this so late. I would have done it sooner except my cat decided to show off her "incredible" acrobatic skills by doing a half-gainer from the shelf above my computer right down on top of the key board. As a direct result, many of the crucial keys were damaged.

I had to run after work to get a new board. Honestly, I didn't mind. I had an illuminated keyboard(lit up blue) but saw a better one in the store a few weeks ago( gives you the option to change the colour from blue to red or purple). I really wanted it but had no reason to do so...Until, of course, now. 😀

I am now typing this message on the purple colour setting.

Thank you all again for your wonderful and warm wishes. It was a pretty good birthday, thus far. Well, actually, it's the sixth right now. The damage was caused last night. Thanks to the quick log in feature, I was actually able to do some cruising this morning but wasn't able to type.

Oh, and to VENRAY: I actually had a near miss. I was goofing on a friend of mine this weekend just to get a rise out of him for my own amusement when he promptly turned his head towards me and told me that if I didn't quit screwing with him he'd take me-kicking and screaming-to Ghost Rider on sunday.

It shut me up...

you are sooo funny....i can picture that sweet kittie doing that acrobatic skill...hehe..my kitten used to sit on the desk and try to swat at the screen when i was typing or whatnot..hmm that must be one heavy kittie...also i didn't know you could get illuminated keyboards....cool.....i love purple..

Yep. My cat has an insatiable need to climb things and then take the short way down.

Like you, my cat also has a penchant to attack the monitor when she sees the cursor moving. It's why she's not allowed on my lap anymore.

The brand of keyboard I have is called the Eclipse 2. I used to have the first version. I think they only came out with two versions but I'm not sure.
