Happy Birthday, TMF!

Just wondering if anyone else was aware that our favorite website has turned eight years old today. To the moderators and founders of this fantastic site, all I can say is

Better reply quickly... it's already November 21st in some parts of the world.

(I know this probably belongs in the celebration forum but I looked and there was only one announcement coupled with someone's birthday and so far only one person replied to the thing. TMF's birthday deserves a thread of its own).

To all of those that worked to get this site up, and continue its running, I say a most heartfelt thank you.

Nothing I could post could ever say or reflect all of thanks I have.

But I'll try.

When the TMF was 1, it had barely just begun.
By the time it was 2, it was all still fairly new.
When it turned 3, we were all filled with glee.
At the age of 4, we all knew there could be more.
At the age of 5, I finally all the way delurked and came alive.
When the TMF turned 6 years old, this site was something to behold.
At 7 still as good as ever, still a site to bring us together.

And now at 8, it all seems great and fine...but let us remember those who take the time...to MOD and post, cheer and toast....all of the members, young and old, those that post and those that don't. Everyone here makes the TMF better, and thanks again to my 3 favorite letters.

If it wasn't for this place, the website link that I passed by twice before I decided to check it out wouldn't exist.

I wouldn't have sat in front of my computer for a half an hour trying to figure out a screenname.

I wouldn't have perused through every inch of A/v and the stories section/Archive. Desperately trying to find out what everyone else thought about this fetish.

I wouldn't have been intrigued by the NEST countdown on the upper right of the forum and posted my first thread asking WTF everyone was rambling about when it came to that.

I wouldn't have found out that flame free forum wasn't speaking to gays. 😵

I wouldn't have sat up in the Chat room late at night just to watch the interactions happening.

I wouldn't have gotten involved in my first discussion and actually feel as if I've contributed something.

I wouldn't have decided to start posting questions and conversations instead of trying to wait for someone else to ever answer it for me.

I definitely wouldn't have boarded that plane for my first time, to leave Rochester alone for my first time.

I wouldn't have been able to experience the benefits of a good flame war.

I would never have had the chance to get to know so many that complete individual parts of me to every possible degree.

I would have still been plugging the words 'tickle', 'tickle fetish', 'what is a tickle fetish?' and 'tickling' into any and every search engine available. Only to be discouraged at the results.

I wouldn't have had the chance to stare at the main page and think, "THIS is what I was looking for."

I wouldn't have been able to learn anything on such a level that I've had the chance to.

Most of all, I wouldn't be getting fucking choked up from writing this.

It's okay how we all want to view this forum and what we want to take from it. But, this has been a blessing to me that many times I wonder if I really deserve.
