Happy Easter to everyone!! Blessings of the risen Christ be upon all who hold dear to faith in him!🙂 ( I know it's not everyone.) And blessed Passover to all as well!!

Actually though the word "Easter", which is a strictly Germanic term, is of pagan origin (Paques, in French is the same word for "Passover") The timing is in fact based on the Jewish celebration of Passover which is the context of Jesus's death and resurrection - Jesus being a pure blood Jew (Tribe of Judah) felt himself bound by the commandments of Moses in the Torah.🙂

This is not the religion section, i know, but since the question came up i thought i'd add a word or two. 🙂 I hope it's okay. 😱
