Back at cha Knoxie...btw I having dreams of cheesesteaks, does that mean Im finally insane?!?! Did I finally cross the virtual border between crazy and insanity?!?
I missed this thread until now. Duh on me. I was on AIM and Yahoo last night, and not really on forum or chat, so I didnt see this. I hope you and Mrs Knox had an awesome Valentine's Day, my good friend.
The red roses I bought for my Valentine are sitting in a big crystal vase in the living room. It's given the area a nice fragrance. I love the smell of roses, really...because they don't bother me. Other flowers can be kind of funky, and enough of them can close off my breathing passages. Years ago, we spent a romantic getaway at the Mohonk Mountain House up in New Paltz, New York. In our room, they put fresh cut flowers...I woke up the next morning, throwing the windows open, I just couldn't take it... I told Mrs Knox, in a flippant manner, I was gonna ask them for plastic or silk ones instead. She told me, don't you dare.
This is a bittersweet day. My uncle- my dad's younger brother- has lung cancer. His battle just took a turn for the worse last night, when his heart almost gave way. This afternoon, his vital signs are better, but it's been very stressful...
Knox, I'm glad to hear that you and Mrs Knox had a nice V Day. I am very sorry to hear about your uncle's illness. I hope he stablizes, and feels better. Take care, my friend.
My aunt called tonight, btw, from the hospital, he's making great strides...which is good, since the next time I go down to Florida, I'd much prefer happier circumstances. Of course...
From the house of Judy and mine, here is a happy Valentines day to you and your Miz. Sorry this is late but this is the first time I saw the thread. I haven't been around that much lately. I hope your uncle is feeling better as I write this.
