Has anybody ever dressed up as Don Turtelli for Halloween?

Haha, I'm a little medicated at the moment and I was just talking to a friend of mine (who knows about my fetish and who I've played with before) a little while ago about the classic TMNT scene with April getting tickled and I randomly brought up the idea: Wouldn't it cool if somebody dressed up as Don Turtelli for Halloween?

I was kinda joking at first, but then I thought it might be interesting to see how people reacted to it, like if anybody outside the tickling world would recognize him from watching the old TMNT cartoon years before. Has anybody here ever dressed up like Don Turtelli for Halloween, or would you? If you have, how did everybody react? I'm not sure I ever would personally, only because I haven't really been one to dress up and celebrate Halloween in recent years. I wouldn't completely rule it out in the future though.

His outfit is too generic and he isn't relevant in any TMNT material outside of the original series, so the odds are pretty low. I think there's a new Turtles show, so we can always pray they'll revive him.

Mmmm, when you put it that way I suppose the odds would be rather low, huh? Perhaps if instead of a Halloween costume, it were for a TMNT-themed costume party or event (even more specifically, a party or event based on the original series for hardcore fans!). Or maybe even Comic-Con! Haha regardless it's fun to think about.

As for Don Turtelli being revived in the new series....that's probably not gonna happen. I refuse to watch it, but from what I've heard it's nothing like the original series and plus dude was only in like, what 2 episodes? I wouldn't get my hopes up for him to make a return.

I can only recall 2 episodes that he was in: "The Hot Kimono" and "The Great Boldini".

The couples costume idea would be cool. I was actually kinda thinking about something like that in the back of my mind, haha

Haha well there are some people on here who have said that it's possible that the creators/writers may have had a thing for tickling themselves, so who knows? I wouldn't doubt it at all. It would have been nice to have Don Turtelli appear a few more times though. 😀

Haha thinking about it...a TMNT themed party here wouldn't go over so well because it would be a party with 100 people dressed as Don Turtelli. Id be the wild card though cuz Id come dressed as Baxter Stockman. I Just like his name...say it..its a cool name to say...Baxter Stockman.

Would be a real easy costume to create, suit, fedora stash feather, you never know what people may say while approaching you, hmmmmm, interesting social experiment and Halloween is right around the corner....

Would be a fairly easy costume to pull off because he basically wears typical mafia style clothing. I just don't think he'd be relevant enough though. People would be wondering why you were dressed like a gangster holding a feather, lol.

He was in 3 episodes & was supposed to come back for a 4th, but there was issues with the script.

The 3 Episodes he was in were:
1. Burnes Blues
2. Case of the Hot Kimono
3. The Great Boldini

In Burnes Blues he was drawn differently & its only implied the he tickled the 2 guys who were already being tickled by german spies, then DON Turtelli shows up & thinks they are looking for him & walks towards them with a feather, then later they get kidnapped by aliens & tickled again, u don't see the tickling, just hear laughter.

In Case of the Hot Kimono & The Great Boldini he was the main antagonist:

In Kimono he's looking for a treasure map that's on Splinters Kimono & he kidnaps April & Vernon thinking they know where it is & they get tickled.

In Boldini he intends to steal a 'Family heirloom' which is a emerald that his cousin a crooked magician helps him steal it, but some kids find out their plan & hide it from Boldini & Turtelli. Turtelli captures them & tickles them until they tell where they hid the emerald.

Someone posted it on here IDK how credible they are, but they said they knew someone who was a producer for the show, but on the website for TMNT there is missing episode in like the 4th season said something about due to script changes the episode was cancelled.

Fuck it....Don Turtelli needs his own show! Or maybe he could just appear periodically in other shows. Who says he needs to stay in the TMNT universe? Think of the possibilities!

An interesting fact I thought any Turtelli fans might be interested to hear!

Ok, I was speaking to a former script writer who happens to know another former script writer who was part of the old TMNT team. Now, he knew a lot about the shows and characters. (He doesnt know I'm on here incidentally).

He said a lot of ideas and stories are drawn up and simply scrapped, maybe as much as 60%.

Anyway, to get to the point, I brought up the shows minor characters in conversation, and soon we were talking about everybody's favourite villain. He appeared in 3 shows as most of you will know: the great boldini, the case of the hot kimono and burnes blues.

Anybody guess whats coming next? Yes - he was scripted to appear in another show. This never came to the animation stage, but a rough plot WAS drawn up according to this script writer.

The plot, I'm sure you'll want to hear, was to bring in one or two other guest characters: Zach's brother, thinks was called Walter and Zach's mother, (guy didn't know a name for her, thinks someone mentioned a name beginning with a 'V', Vanessa maybe?). The voice of Zachs mother was to be done by Jennifer Darling.

Anyway the victims were to be Zach and his mother. A map leading to some treasure or another is being held by Zach in his home. His brother apparently steals the map from Zachs bedroom and leaves the house. In the meantime Turtelli comes looking. Zach & Vanessa (?) are duly bound and gagged whilst Turtelli & his henchmen ransack the home. Finding no map,Zach and Vanessa are taken to Turtelli's penthouse for an evening of laughter.

There was apparently to be a comic element whereby Turtelli goes back to the house alone to search more and instructs his henchmen (Bruce & Rodney I'm assuming), to use the feather on Zach and his mother until they 'sing'. The henchmen misunderstand 'making them sing' and Turtelli returns to find his captive's singing nursery rhymes in return for a halt to the tickle torture.

I think I got a fair amount of info about this from the script writer,but will ask further when I speak to him again (I don't want to make my motives too obvious though!!)

Will keep everyone informed though
