Has anyone here ever felt like being tickled hurts you?

Recently I received a letter from a female pen pal who told me that if she is tickled too much, that the tickling begins to hurt her. My question to the forum members is this: Have any of you ever been tickled so much, or in such a way, where the tickling actually hurts you or your body? Feedback will be greatly appreciated. In answering this question for myself, while I have been gang tickled, and tickle tortured, on several occasions, and the tickling and hysterical laughing was maddening to me, the tickling never hurt my body, except perhaps my sides or belly from constant hysterical laughing. Anyhow, Iam greatly interested to hear what the forum members have to say on this subject. Thanks.

Yes, this happens to me occasionally. Sometimes while I am laughing hard (doesn't matter why or how long), something happens to my throat, feels almost like a burp, and then my throat physically hurts until I stop laughing. It gets back to normal as soon as I catch my breath, at which point I am ready to go again. It's most annoying when it happens while I am laughing at a joke or somesuch, because then it's a lot harder to stop laughing on demand, especially if you really really have to.

Yes, I sometimes find tickling painful. One example is when rib tickling gets a little rough and the pokes in the ribs hurt more than tickle. Another is when a brush is used to tickle the feet; actually my feet are so sensitive that firm brushes such as hair brushes usually hurt more than tickle. Another, and this is very personal, is that I am so enormously ticklish after sex that even more than a little bit of light tickling hurts.

Tickling definitely becomes painful for me if delivered with too rough of a touch, and/or if it is carried out too long. I have been dotted with as many as 20 bruises at one time from playing with some well meaning lers who just get a little carried away. That is why I tend to request a lighter touch when playing with new lers.

It is very important to listen to whomever you're tickling. If you hear or see any indication of pain, it's time to stop or switch to a light touch. There certainly are some lees who enjoy, and occassionally even prefer a rough touch while being tickled. But I know I'm not one of them.

It shouldn't hurt, it should be FUN!!

Thank goodness my few experiences have been great and nothing like what you went thru Meems. If anyone leaves a mark on me, they're going to have a BIG problem....😀

XOXO

Tickling can become painful if it's carried too far, especially if the ticklee is in bondage. My girlfriend mentioned her arms and legs were sore a couple days after our first bound tickling session a few weeks ago....while struggling and jerking wildly trying to free herself, Traci strained muscles in her arms and legs...said it was like the soreness after a workout (she's in pretty good condition, but didn't do the usual stretching exercises as she does before aerobics or rock climbing).

Traci's wrists were also red and sore from the pressure of my handcuffs as she was being tickled (why we now use soft restraints).

Some of my spots, like mt knees, under my arms or around my bikini line tickle more when someone digs into them, but this can also hurt if it goes on too long or if the ler tickles too hard. Incidently, I am currently covered in mild bruises from my last ticklefight a few days ago, but it's more from the rolling around and being pinned down and falling off the couch than from actual tickling. I don't mind them - it was all worth it😀

*sigh* I love being a lee:happyfloa

Its best to avoid pressure-point tickling because that can hurt. Lymph nodes under the arms near the top of the ribcage can be particularly sensitive to hard poking. Also, I find that when squeezing the sides or ribcage, I get a better response with longer tolerance when I tickle with the pads of my fingers, and vary sparingly with my fingertips. In other words, don't curl the fingers inward when digging into a ticklish victim's ribs, rather, squeeze like you're making a hand-puppet, with the four fingers straight and the thumb flexed outward. This significantly reduces the pin-point pressure and does more to tickle, than hurt.

Also, when using ball point pens to write on the soles, its a good idea to use a tip no finer than .07mm, although the .09mm seem to be most comfortable.

😎

Thanks for the responses everyone. They are appreciated. I wanted to get the Forum members reaction to this subject I had discussed with my pen pal.

It only gets painful when you tickle areas you have to dig too hard, like the ribs, or armpits, or inner thighs, it can also hurt if you tickle too long without giving breaks. Sure you can tickle all day, but give some breathers, you don't want the lee to be uncomfortable, that is not a good thing😀

I haven't experianced real pain yet, although a few of my past boy/girlfriends have gone a little overboard.

I can have an orgasm from the right kind of tickling. Does that count? 😀
