Has watching someone else get tickled ever made you laugh?

If so, why do you think it was? Just because laughter is contageous? Just the situation? Maybe did it make you laugh because you knew how the other person felt? There was a guy in the old AOL Tickling chat room (don't know if he's on here) who said that seeing someone paint the bottoms of a statue's feet made him laugh uncontrollably. In that one case at least, I guess you can rule out the "laughter is contageous" explanation lol

Laughter is absolutely contagious to me. If someone's laughing, whether because of a joke, they saw something funny, or being tickled, I can't help but grin and laugh along with them. Even during the rare times I ler, I'm laughing along with my lee.

I've definitely seen other people get tickled & couldn't help but smile & laugh. It's fun.

Also , a couple of the gatherings I've attended have showcased some of the funniest tickling I've ever heard , as well. In fact , listening to someone lose their mind is pretty friggin' hilarious if you're not watching it directly. Amusing stuff for sure.

I don't think I've seen Lee not laughing at the misfortune's of a, well, 'lee.

I find I often do laugh with the 'lees. I say with because that's what it is. You get caught up in the emotion and fun of the moment and can't help yourself.

Yes, I have watched others being tickled and each time I laugh, flinch, and hug my arms closer to my sides.

One time, in an elevator, a young woman was tickling another, who was giggling uncontrollably. As I entered the elevator from the lobby, the tickler saw me flinch. She grinned and then tickled us both up to the 18th floor, making both of us twist and turn in frantic laughter. As the doors opened, both of us were breathless from forced laughter but we did have laugh lines permanently etched into our flushed faces.

If it's someone I know and they are enjoying it, then it's funny and I laugh, but if I only hear the sounds of ticklish laughter and can't see who the people are, especially if it's kids and there's that hint of desperation, I get sick to my stomach. It brings me right back to my own childhood when it really was torture.

If I can't see who the people are and I hear any hint of desperation in his/her forced laughter it brings back memories of me being excessively tickled until it was sheer torture.

I was showing someone this thread.

She quickly wrapped my arms to the chair with a long scarf.
She then tickled my beyond ticklish waist, sides, ribs, underarms,... forcing me to giggle, laugh, and gasp.

Yes, she was definitely laughing as she watched me being tickled silly by her delightful fingertips.

You bet! Several times someones laughter has put a smile on my face! I laugh every time I see Taryn or Gemini get tickled! When they laugh it is it makes me laugh!
