Have you ever loved someone........

Then if experiencing true love is the best feeling one can have yet is insanity we must conclude that it is best to be totally insane. A theory that I have pondered nights that I am unable to fall asleep. 🙁

Being thought insane because of who I might love is one thing. Being insane on purpose as an option to being in love? I'd rather be in love. As to the original question posed in 2004 about going to the ends of the earth for someone I loved...There are people--some are family, some aren't--for whom I would because I love them. If they ask for my help, I will do whatever I can to meet their needs. Insanity? Maybe...

Have you ever loved someone to the point where you would go to the ends of the earth for the person if they asked?

It's an old thread, but I'll throw in...

1.) Unless there's been a centuries long conspiracy of cartographers, the Earth is round. Hence, "ends" seems a shade obsolete. Might want to update your maps. 😀

2.) To answer your question: sure. And certainly not to cheapen any sentiment expressed on this thread, but for my part, it doesn't even require any great romantic love on my part, but compassion and a serious dedication. I have a number of friends and family for whom I would go, figuratively, to the ends of the Earth. The proper treatment of other people being the basis of my morality, my character demands that I give my best effort to many. The only things that curb that are the confines of time. I suppose, however, had I a real love in my life, she would take priority, and what I see now as "the ends of the Earth" may be redefined...

Such a romantic thought and yet it irritates me. I think these emotions are left to youth, as Knox says. And kis has her finger on it too I think. So having said that, I'll say....

yes, once upon a time. Not likely to happen again. But I'm all about good friends and good sex! 😉
