Have you ever loved someone........

I have had 3 people in my life who I loved to that extent

*sigh* 2 out of 3 ended in sadness.. the first, a college romance( when I still lived in the US) basically ended with a mutual breakup, 7 yrs ago, but sadly it's only been in recent months, with my graduation from University and problems in my life, that I came to the sad relization this person wasn't anything like I thought he was.

The Second was my ex husband: the less said about that , the better, but there again I fell in love with what I THOUGHT he was, and sadly after a lot of physcial, psychological and spiritual pain, realized he was totally different, and not in a good way.

The 3rd time, well, it's been delayed a little,but I have hopes for this one!😀 In the 5 months I've "known him" he's made me content and whole as no one else ever has. I feel like he is my true soulmate.

Jester and Smurfy, the love you two have for each other is incredible .May you always feel like you do right now and surround yourselves and your children in such warmth and love .

Jester and Smurfie, this thread is so sweet! My dream is to find a man that will love me as much as Jester loves Smurfie. I keep waiting patiently (sometimes not so patiently!) for that special someone.
 
You know what ticklisharmpits keep your head up you will find someone....just remember that there is one person out there for everyone. It took me 26 years to find Smurfy!!!

Well, we all know that Bizkit only found out recently that he couldn't give birth to a watermelon, despite the fact that we all knew all along. However, it hasn't stopped him from attending that Lamaze class.
 
Well, I felt this way once and once only about someone. And unfortunatly we never got to go anywhere 🙁 So, I married a psycho schitzo bitch instead..why I dont know..but im divorced and longggg happy about it LOL. Good luck to yas both, I think love sucks and is a crock o shit..but, if ya get lucky and have it then thats good 🙂

Are we just a smidge bitter? Love can suck most times, but there are rare times where it works between two people. It has to be an effort from both, not just one-sided.

I used to feel the same way you did when I left my ex. Years have passed since and although I still feel I wasted some good years of my life, I have two great kids to show for it.

I hope your next love goes a whole lot better than the last one. 🙂

PS enjoy the sleep while you can b/c when the baby comes, all bets are off LOL. It's well worth it though. I love my two kids

Oh I tried one more time to see someone and trust again, etc since my ex. And it was a total waste of time and nothing but headgames. Im just glad I didnt open up to this person and give my heart 100%😉 So, yes I am bitter and well..thats just me. Live and learn...and I have🙂

vacation incident

hi all, sorry to bump this back to the front, but something happened on my vacation that i felt fit this thread.
we were back in gatlinberg tn. last week, and as we've done in the past, gone white water rafting. we've never had a problem till this time.

on the last class 4 rapid (to give you an idea, niagra falls is a class 6) called the "excellerator", my wife was thrown out of the raft. i always look around at my kids to make sure they are still with me as we go through each part of the rapids. this time my wife was behind me, and on the opposite side of the raft. as i looked around i saw her launched out of the boat! both the guide and me said "oh shit" at the same time. she went under, and didn't come up!
this is a very long series of rocky rapids that make's up this one rapid. after few seconds of not seeing her, something came over me and i jumped in. later the guides told us no one has ever done that before. i made it to her, she was stunned, and 3 boats threw lines to us. ever try to navigate yourself threw a white water rapid? holding another person? brother, it aint easy!
after we got back in the raft ,the lady guide we had said "boy you must really love her". that stunned me. i had been in a fight with her since easter. no sex, no tickling, nothing loving. i thought about it for a few seconds and replied, "yeah i guess i do".

the point is, yeah i guess i do, go figure.

It is always good to reallize that you truely LOVE the person your with!!!!! I always make it a point to tell Smurfy how I feel about her, every day.

Yes, I have, but only once in this long life of mine. It turned out to be both the most wonderful and most painful of extremes. A difficult path? Absolutely, but some glorious scenery along the way.

Not whining, but it does get a little lonely sometimes.

Let's just say I'm better off by myself these days. I'm not willing to put myself out there just to attract another broke, uneducated, user who wants to live off me until he finds someone better.
