every guy has been in a dry spell. the best thing i can recommend is to just go out with your friends or co-workers (both male and female) and have fun. this is good on many levels...the girls in the group will get to know you and give you a "good referral" to any ladies that might be admireing you from afar. a good word from another girl helps immensly. also seeing you interact with other girls so easily and comfortably will make you seem more attractive to other girls and your luck will change. so, don't go looking for someone...just hang out and she might find you. and don't look needy...a female friend once said "if you look hungry, you'll starve!"

Been there myself. It really does s@%k being somewhat alone when coming home after work. I went on an active search about two years ago, but alas nothing happened, and I have pretty much given up the active search. You do tend to hear a hear a lot of lines like "it will happen when you least expect it" or something like that.
What I did notice when thinking back is that I was rather "consumed" with looking for someone, and it did no good at all! I think back at some of the women that I would like to date, and say to myself now "what a mistake that could have been." As strange as it may seem, I have actually found that many (if not most) women to be quite shallow in their wants and desires, and I will have nothing to do with such a woman, regardless of her physical attributes (and I used to be sooo weak!!). I was out a few weeks ago with a few guys from work, and could only laugh about how the guys were falling over a couple of women at the bar, and buying them drinks all over the place (like any of them had a prayer!).
It is certainly less frustrating not being in an active search..I have certainly gotten a lot more work around the house done over the last few months! At this point, I am just going to sit back and see what happens, but am expecting nothing at all.

I think you should just take a couple nights off for yourself, go to a club or the movies, chill with the friends you already have. Have fun, live life to the fullest. Then maybe you will find someone you're attracted to, hopefully they aint taken..and bam! you got yourself a chick.

i myself am only 23 years old, and I just graduated from college, so I just take it easy, play the ps2 and gamecube and just have fun. I met a chick last night, we hung out for a couple of hours, got each others phone numbers and we might see each other again.

Dude, I was looking at the bay area cuz I'll be moving there myself and not only does there seem to be an active BDSM scene (duh) where you could probably find people more open to tickling, there are also tickling groups, looks like there's a munch in sacramento every month! maybe we could carpool since it's a long drive. 😛 Look in the west coast gatherings.

Boy, ain't that the truth. I look back, and I can't BELIEVE the human fecal matter I settled for back when I was alone. Gives a whole new meaning to Skeletons In The Closet.
