An excerpt from my Facebook Survey:
"I'm writing a thesis on the way sexual experience is viewed in American culture. It touches on fetishism, how it's perceived, the values we Americans employ in our media and personal lives, and perhaps why there are certain attitudes people have towards sex.
I'm asking for volunteers to offer me their views on this topic. Any and all opinions are valid. I'm looking for your personal experiences (good or bad), how sex affects your life (if you're abstinent, that's fine), and what your experience is with things outside of the sexual "norm."
This is completely confidential, and I understand it can be an uncomfortable topic. I appreciate any sort of feedback, even if it's why you're not comfortable with the topic. Names will not be used in any way for this final paper - I'm required to do this for field research as part of the final project.
Please inbox me individually, to preserve anonymity.
Thank you for your participation!"
A little about myself:
I've been a part of this forum for probably the last five or six years. My name is Brandon, and my former account was the name DeusxLionxx, which was linked to a compromised email. (Hence the name change.) While not an active participant, I do try to engage once and a while here.
I've recently taken in interest in sex, and what makes it such an uncomfortable topic to discuss. For some it isn't. Basically, what makes people tick?
Any and all experience, whether it's about a fetish, or anything related on your thought on sex in the media, etc. Please share. Any and all information is valid.
Thank you all for the help!
Brandon
