Ok, this may very well be the most pitiful thing that's ever happened with me post NEST. I'd been sooo good about not getting weepy about NEST being over...until I was driving home from the store last night. Hey There Delilah, this sweet little song by the Plain White T's that speaks directly to my estrogen levels and makes me all emo-girlie, came on the radio. Everything about the weekend suddenly hit me and I actually had to pull over because I started to cry. Yes I know that's silly. Shut up.

Anyway, I got home (after going back to the store for post-NEST chocolate, again shut up) and started jotting this down. I finished it and thought folks would like it after they were done laughing at my sorry state of mind :bubble:

I’ve been torturing myself with NEST threads for a couple of days now but this is the first one that made me cry and nod my head.

Know the feeling. The post-NEST-blues are even worse when you realize that it’s really over and you didn’t get to be a part of it. Kind of like being sick on Christmas.

I must admit that I always get meloncholy when the NEST is over.
I sang along with the YouTube link a couple of times until I noticed there is ONE line missing at the end, so . . . I added it here.
I hope you don't mind that I completed the song for you.
It is on the 10th group of lyrics.
Also, I changed one word to be more generalized so the guys can sing along and get all girly too (In PRIVATE of course).
I feel many things at NEST, but 'pretty' just isn't one of them.
Hahaha.
