Hi everyone!

I'm new to the forum (although I've been following as a non-member for quite a while now), and not to come in swinging, but I just wanted to mention something that I've noticed here and in the tickling community in general that I think is worth bringing up.

I'm a young woman who's been into tickling since she can remember, and in real life enjoys both being a ler and lee. However, when it comes to pics and vids, there's nothing I like more than seeing a hot, helpless guy getting tickled. To me, this makes total sense, since I'm straight and very, very attracted to men. My "porn" consists almost exclusively of videos and pictures of F/M tickling (although let's be honest, I won't say no to M/M or F/F in a pinch 😉 ). Sadly for me, tickling media at large is heavily dominated by female lees. Poor me! My opportunities to see attractive guys getting the pants tickled off them, literally and metaphorically, are pretty few and far between.

However, what's worse is not only the relative dearth of F/M material, but the condescension, and sometimes even outright hostility, toward media that features male lees. This attitude is fairly common in the online community at large, where F/M clips are absurdly branded as "gay" by people who aren't into it (seriously?? how is a guy getting tickled by a beautiful woman "gay"??).

I think TMF does a pretty good job of staying open and supportive for people of all backgrounds and experiences, but to be honest, I've even seen negative reactions in several of the threads here that have F/M material. A lot of guys go out of their way to comment "this doesn't do it for me" or "I'd rather see HER getting it!" I get **SO** annoyed when I see these comments! If F/M material doesn't do it for you, there's no need for you to tell me about it. Trust me, you have PLENTY of F/F and M/F options to choose from. The vast majority of material out there caters directly to you - right down to every single one of the ads along the sidebar of this forum!

I totally understand that people have their own preferences, and I'm not saying you SHOULD be into F/M if you're not. To each his/her own, and we're all the better for it. All I'm asking is that you show me the same courtesy and not buzzkill the few chances I have to see pics or vids that tickle MY fancy!

Anyway, thanks for listening! I'm off to ponder why there aren't MORE men in the world who'd like to try a round beneath the fingers of a cute girl like me 😉

(And for those of you who ARE into the idea, perhaps a brush with my feathery fan is in your future?)

I'm a bit odd about my preferences. I favor M/M, F/M, and F/F, but I don't care too much for M/F. I'm not too terribly picky, however, but recently I've been highly aroused by the idea of guys being tied up and brutally tickle tortured by other guys. Or females. I see what your getting at,..have you tried looking in the personals here? myself i look for female lees ,..and i found a fair amount of guys looking for girls to tickle them , so i would suggest looking there maybe pm them see what happens.

Thanks for the welcome, Tangerine! Sounds like we have almost exactly the same preferences. I started as a pretty exclusive F/M fan, but I'm also getting increasingly into M/M and F/F. But still not so much on the M/F...

Anyway, what I'm trying to get at is not so much what happens behind closed doors - where I think a lot of people are open to both tickling and being tickled - but how the culture of tickling plays out within the tickling community as a whole.

I think we should all stop judging each other's likes and dislikes and just get back to ticklin'!

I would guess that the 'gay'-brandmark probably comes from the broad opinion that 'real' man shouldn't be weak, giggling, giving in to sensation. Real men have to be strong, not submissive. So a guy who is submissive might be looked at as being gay.

Personally, I don't think so, but I definitely do not feel attracted to submissive men.
 
Welcome Hellion........can't say I share the strength of your interest in F/M tickling (although Tickle Abuse does have some intriguing vids at times), I think there's a decent amount out there. Not nearly as much as M/F but I think you'll be satisfied..........and as for meeting male lee's on here..........trust me, there's a LOT more than you think (I'm not included in that number lol). As a NEST attendee for the first time this year, I was amazed at how many guys preffered to be lee's. Just some food for thought and my 4 cents (I'm accounting for inflation 🙂 ).
 
just figured id post for the hell of it on this thread, and support bmore, by saying i myself, am a male lee. its actually quite difficult for me to find a woman willing to tickle me.....its really very frustrating.

Welcome to the forum, and a very solid first post.

Speaking to your observations on how /M media is often commented upon;

What you are seeing is a very good example of a greater attitude is society being mirrored in a very specific situation here. Demographically adult media has always targeted a male audience, and as a result has always been consumed by a male audience.

This is the atmosphere that the adult industry functioned in for most of it's history. Males fucked, women were fucked, to be blunt. And one of the pleasures of an adult content forum is I can be.

Anything that cast the male as the person on the bottom of the power equation in adult media was seen as being 'off' message for the main demographic (Hetro-male) and thus it had to be for.... well, gee, women don't buy porn, so it must be for Homo-male consumption somehow. Add in the society view that men are strong, etc and you get a bigger punch to the negative reaction to such media.

/m media has had a hard road all across the board.

When I first took the helm of being Admin here on the TMF back in 2001, media produced was almost 100% /F and even discussion of /M was greeted with an attitude that I found pretty closed minded. I made it a key point of how the forum was developed that /M would be treated with the same level of openness and tolerance as /F was. And we sat on people who wanted it otherwise.

You'll note our Clips, Story and Image forums are not divided by gender. I was not up for creating a /M media Ghetto. This is one reflection of how we wanted to see our community grow.

And it has.

There are many male lees that openly identify themselves here now, and openly discuss their likes and experiences. The story forums have an excellent balance of /M material in them.

Producers like MTJ in the story and art realm, and Tickle Abuse and Tickle Chicks in the video realm have stepped up to be top producers of /M materials and have seen profits as a result.

But habits change hard. Lots of older members here have an instinctive reaction to /M material that many of the new generation (the one that grew up WITH a TMF, rather then before it) don't. Society is slowly shifting it's outlooks on sexuality, to being more inclusive of other ways of sexuality being there (The old, I don't care what other folks do, as long as I'm able to enjoy what I like, outlook is on the rise as the Y's and 00 generations come to power) and members sometimes fall back on the patterns of behavior that they grew up with.

But it's in decline. If you dig in our forums back to the posts from '01, or '04 or '08 you can see the changes. We save our history, its all there.

And with each member like yourself that steps up and says what they like, in your case /M, this place becomes more of a reflection of what the world is like, rather then what people THINK it's like. And that is one of my goals.

It will continue to improve. That is the trend in the world, and I have no doubt it will be the same here.

The situation is a lot better than it was, say, three years ago when I joined the forum. But as a genderbending male switch, I really couldn't care less about what people make of my sexuality, much less my love of being tickled. 😀

They get weirded out by it? Bully for them - it's their problem, not mine.
 
Little Hillion welcome to the forum and everyone in here has their own opinion on what they like to see. I know a lot of women like yourself who loves to see a poor helpless guy tickled by another female, no problem with that at all. I just prefer not to watch a guy getting tickled in clips. To me a guy tickling another male is gay tendencies. I love to watch both females tickling other females, and guys tickling females. Or botha guy and girl tickling another female. I am first and foremost a male lee (if tickled by a female), although I throughly enjoy seeing females tickled (and have the occasional poke at my girlfriend - the most unticklish woman in the world). As Myriads points out, when this forum first started anything F/M was jumped upon and considered gay (whereas I think it takes a real man to be able to submit to a lady). Me and my girlfriend have also recently started experimenting with caning, when I sufficiently piss her off (again it takes a real man to submit to that - ouch). Anyway things are different on here now and the more you stay with the forum, you will find plenty of material/stories regarding F/M tickling.

As for M/M this is not my thing, and I do consider any guy who partakes in this has some sort of gay tendencies. However if they enjoy it, then all power to them (is being gay considered a bad thing by us 'open minded' fetishists ?). So to each their own.

About f/m tickling. There is a lot more than there seems... there is one guy that posts in the video section that does mostly f/m tickling. Atleast I think it's f/m, it might be m/m... I don't look at it so yeah. The reason why there seems to be more f/f or m/f tickling is because companies have to do what people want in order to make money. There are more demand for it so more people do it. I do feel your pain though. I'm not into feet like alot of the tickle fetish people are and there seems to be alot more feet tickling videos than other body parts so I understand your sadness about not having alot of what you like.
