Big deal!!! The Rangers, we all know when the smoke clears will be a last place team and outside the play-offs looking in. For all the money spent over the last 8 years you would think they would have made it to the playoffs once. But look at the Devils. They hardly spend any money and go to playoffs every year. That is because we play as a team. Plus it does not hurt that we have the best goaltender in hockey on our team either. Heck Ranger fans remember they use to chant 1940? You know, find me a goaltender outside of the Red Wings tandem who is not giving up at least 3 goals a game. Look at the Ottawa game last night. A 10-4 win for the Senators over the Buffalo Sabres. Offense is there because of the rule changes. BTW, the Devils were not giving up 10 shots a game. Maybe that is how many shots the Rangers got a game but that is only because since 1997 they have been really pathetic. Playoff bound??? Probably not. They will stub their toe somewhere and will be on the outside looking in. But all your laughing at Marty and his 3.50 GAA who is the last goaltender to win a Stanley Cup for the Rangers in the last 10 years? No one that is your answer. It may not be the best rivalry in hockey but it is a good one.Yeah, they play in Madison Square Garden but we play for the Stanley Cup every year while they play to stay out of last place. 😛leafstk said:
