Horrible News.... Whitney Houston Dies...

As if my day wasnt going badly enough, it saddens me deeply to report this news to the forum from the public world.

I just came from Facebook, where I read that singer Whitney Houston has passed away at age 48. I dont have any details about her death, but this is what is being reported.,

I'm stunned and saddened by this news. Ms Houston left us far too young. I was a big fan of hers, and saw her in concert.

R.I.P., What a tradegy.

She was just working her way back on her career. The circumstances haven't been released, but she lived hard so no telling.

Maybe she and Michael can get together and collaborate in eternity.

Thanks, kis. I'm absolutely shaken by this news. The only other time I recall being as shaken up when a celebrity died, was when John Ritter passed away at age 54 in 2003.

Whitney was a wonderful talent, who left us far, far too soon.

This is premature ... but the buzz online is that it was a heroine overdose.

She went from the biggest superstar in the world to dying alone in a hotel room.

In her own immortal words "crack is whack".

I just read that Whitney Houston's daughter, 18 year old Bobbi Kristina Brown, was rushed to an LA hospital this morning, for what are being called "Unspecificed medical reasons". The reports have said that Ms Brown is absolutely shattered by her mother's passing. My heart goes out to that poor girl. The report also said that Whitney's ex husband, Bobby Brown, is himself devestated, and intends to be there as a support system for his daughter.

What a tragic situation. I feel so badly about what these people are going through.

SamuelKhan, I agree wholeheartedly. That performance of the National Anthem just 10 days after the start of the Gulf War, was not only the most memorable Super Bowl performances, but one of the greatest performances ever, regardless the music style or the performance.

Yeah it's a shame about Whitney Houston's death . From what I heard was that she was in a Beverly Hills Hotel and she was drinking alcoholic beverages, took one of her medications that is some kind of tranquilizer, and drowned in the bathtub. She had a great voice & had a very successful career! I was definitely a fan of hers. May she R.I.P. I think I need one of these
