For me it's my trust and faith in God and also my close loving and very support parents with out them i would be nothing! (who are also having thier 25th Wedding Anniversary coming up this saturday  :Kiss2: ) so we're going to have a big bash with my older brothers coming down and also all my relatives and other family members to share it with them.

That is actually a very good question. :blaugh: I certainly don't have an answer.

Sure you do. It just takes some thinking and brain power 😀

Good for you, vampire!

Myself, I can only get through life on a day-by-day basis, one step after the other. My parents are dead, my half-brother lives his own life, my two daughters are much too busy to visit their dad more than 4 times a year, I'm divorced, have a damaged health and no job (except for some welfare checks and a measly 40 $ per week job). How do you think I manage to get through life?

Enjoy your family's love, things may change faster than you can imagine...

Sorry to hear about your situation, Hal.... My life is a cakewalk by comparison.

As for what gets me through life... I find that keeping myself too busy to even think about that helps out a lot. Life is short, so you might as well stay active for this relatively brief period of existence.

Hmmm...good question. I can't stand most of my actual family, and there aren't too many left, so I'd have to say
my friends (many who are better to me than my blood relatives) for love and support
my wacky sense of humor (which I'm certain has saved my LIFE a time or two)
my 3 cats and new puppy for never judging and snuggles and
my patients (who keep me centered and grounded and remind me everyday that no matter how bad things seem, someone out there has it a LOT worse than I do...)

XOXO

You just sumed it up for me there!

My warped sense of humor Building tank models Surfin the web Reading And the fact that one day the son of Jor-El will be defeated by me
AAAAAAANDDDDDD WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I have the ability to laugh at myself and the jokes that life throws at me. That and I'm pretty tenacious... I've had tons of life experience for my age and without tenacity I wouldn't have even made it this far.
