How does one post a flash animation?

So, I posted a topic showing a link to a person's flash animation of Jill Valentine being tickled via duster roller and I was wondering if it's possible to somehow post the animation itself?

you need to have the animation saved at a linkable location, then yes it can be posted here. Note the member C.A.B. who has a flash animation in his sig.

Any idea why the link didn't work when I tried to link it directly to the flash animation on DeviantArt then?

Not really. It could be that the link you used wasn't for the file but for the page the file was embedded in. Some flashes are basically animated gifs. Those link with no issues. But some are little programs, and don't like to link.
