I don't think anybody is raking in the mega-bucks, if that's what your asking. I can't speak for fellow producers, but when I shoot a video, I just look to break even, and maybe get some $$ in the process. But to me, it's not about the mega-bucks, to start with. I enjoy this as a hobby.

We are a fringe-of-a-fringe market anyway.

What's important to me is the etiquette involved...and presenting a cool, finished product to the community that so graciously supports the material.

Just in the past 8 months, I've seen some very interesting circumstances involving...well...less than stellar etiquette within the biz;
I'll just leave it at that. 😀

My answer:

A Smile. If you're not having fun with it, you're in the wrong biz.
 
As I was told before making my first publication on MTJ Publishing, roughly this: "Don't think you're going to make a lot of money from selling tickle torture stories. Just expect to make a few bucks that you wouldn't have had, for doing what you like to do anyway."

Indeed, I've found it's worth a few extra bucks. 😀

Monetarily, it's just tough to give an estimate, ya know?

...and, since I make $19.5 million annually, just off of tickling clips, well... 😛 😀

In all seriousness, monetarily speaking, if a producer wants money, start a porn company.

However, if you're a fetishist, and want to share a vision...the fetish approach is an amazing ride.
 
Seeing the investmens people have made in their companies (in buying equipment and such) and the number of companies I'd say it'd be somewhere between $200,000 and $300,000.
