This can be more difficult than it looks - it just shows how little most of us really see! There are 29 questions about things we see every day or have known about all our lives.

How many can you get right? These little simple questions are harder than you think - it just shows you how little we pay attention to the common place things of life.

Mind teasers of COMMON KNOWLEDGE. No cheating!

Can you beat 15?? (The average is 7) Write down your answers and check answers (on the bottom) AFTER completing all the questions.

I personally got 18 correct. How did you do?

Mimi 🙂

No fair! No less than 13 questions refer to US specifics or are different in Europe. For example, we haven't got letters on our phone dials, our standard pack of matches contains 38 matches, etc.

Besides, rain goes down the drain both clockwise and counterclockwise; the Coriolis effect is just statistical and doesn't always apply, only in the majoritiy of cases.

Oh well, I've got 10 anyway... 🙄 😀

Some of the ones I missed made me feel UTTERLY retarded... :sowrong:

😛

Mimi,

To tell you the truth, I got only three wrong. I got the VHF channel number wrong because I wasn't paying attention. But I was surprized that I have guessed Bashful as the Seventh Dwarf! The other questions I got wrong were about the top stripe of the flag, and the direction of the Merry-Go-Round since I haven't riden on one since I don't know how long.

I got 11 wrong...but damn I just realized how observant im not! pretty cool though!

Hmmm... I got 18 correct... which is pretty good for living in Australia... which fortunately ISN'T a state of America yet. And thats including some of your america specific questions.

I must admit though, I didn't get the phone question 5 or the VHS question 13... but thats mostly because its been close to 2 decades since I've used either of them. Does this mean that this is an old test... or is common part of america still stuck in the 80's?

Hmmm.. but if you take out the 13 odd US specific questions I got 112.5% correct 🙂 which I think is pretty good.

18 right and 11 wrong. Although I had a few educated guesses I got right, and some of the stuff I got wrong makes me feel pretty stupid. lol

I got 17 right, guess I need to pay alittle more attention to what is going on around me.:atom: :atom:
