How obsessed are you with tickling?

Is it something you think about once-in-a-while, on a semi-regular basis, on a regular basis, or every waking second?

For me it depends, it is not what I am always thinking, otherwise I would not be yawning and stretching in front of people😀 I think about it now and then, far from an obsession. Guess it is one of those things I enjoy but do not think that much about, odd I am.

Since for me, it's inextricably linked with sex, I guess I think about it around as often as the average male thinks about sex. Maybe less. However, if I'm at work, and I see this lovely brunette working with her mates on paperwork in the lunch room, or this other voluptuous brunette with the electric smile on the nightly cleaning crew, you bet I'm gonna think about it, and speculate!

During my waking hours, I'd say it's a once in awhile kind of thing. I'm usually too busy to think about much of anything except the task at hand. BUT...
Once bedtime comes, and I'm in that place between sleep and wakefulness, I find that my thoughts often turn to tickling fantasies. It's a nice way to wind down from a stressful day 😉

I like tickling, I dont think I'm obsessed, and actually I have to be egged on to really think about it. Like without being on this web site it would be a once in a while thing. When I started talking it up with people, then I think about it more, lol, so I need attention drawn to it 🙂

These days? I don't think I am obsessed, these days. I think I was, before this community burgeoned. Tickling is a big part of my marriage, though. My wife's one of us.

I also participate enough, here and elsewhere, and have met enough of us in person to know that we're everywhere, and not nearly as strange as can be said when we're young.

Like fetishists, bdsm enthusiast, and other sexual deviants, we're confusing to some. I don't deal wit' them. There's plenty of cool folk around. If they weren't around me, I'd move. Having moved FROM a good group, I'm findin' that no one cares what I do in private, in my new home.

I'd have to go with quite often. i've had casual tickling experiences, tickling in some relationships and occational bondage tickling experiences, but to paraphrase that old Lays comercial" Betcha can't tickle/be tickled just once. Having found the on-line community has helped me tho, knowing I'm not alone and hav others to natter about it with.
Also planning to attend my 1st tk gathering( NYST) in April so I think that'll expunge some of the tickling demons( or mambe make them worse! LOL

...with tickling for as long as I can remember. Not every waking second, but definitely every waking day. If my mind is otherwise occupied, I don't think about tickling, but when I relax and daydream, it's always about tickling. Every woman in my particular circle gets cast into the role of tickler. Sometimes it's me she tickles, sometimes it's somebody else. One thing I find is that if I learn from any woman I know that she is pissed at somebody or in some kind of conflict with somebody, I always imagine her venting her frustrations out on that person's ribs and armpits.

While the TMF, as well as thinking and talking about tickling is an important part of my life, I would not exactly call myself "obsessed" with it where I think of it every waking hour or anything like that. I work, watch baseball games, see movies, go out with friends, and can spend hours not thinking or talking about tickling. I come to the TMF not only to talk about tickling, but also to spend time chatting with my fellow members, whom I consider friends after being here for six months. I will admit that when I see an attractive woman in person or on TV, I will find myself wondering how ticklish they are. Not only girls I see on the street, or waitresses, etc, but also people like female news anchors, home shopping network hostesses, and girls on the Weather Channel etc. Talking about tickling and the TMF is an important part of my life, but I would not call myself "obsessed" to the point where I dont think about or do anything else besides thinking or talking about tickling.

While I do think about it, it's not something that I'd remotely consider to be an obsession...though there was a time when it was. Now that I'm married to a fellow ticklephile and pretty much enjoy playing all the time, it's more of a given. It's just there...a natural and integral part of our life that I don't think about any more than a kiss or cuddle...other than to acknowledge how nice it is to have. I "think" about it more when I'm here or working on one of the sites.

I have to agree drew. Tickling is becoming a bigger and bigger part of my life. I think about it a lot but not every waking minute. Every waking hour, perhaps?😕

Tickling an obsession?

Obsession: a persistent disturbing preoccupation with an often unreasonable idea or feeling; a compelling motivation.

By this definition, I would have to say "yes, tickling has been an obsession in the past". Back in the dark ages (the 1970's to all you young sprouts), I not only thought about it persistently, I spent inordinate amounts of time seeking material about tickling in the media. It was such a compelling motivation that I even formed a correspondence group around 1978, and in the following months learned that about 30 other people were as compelled as I was to write and talk about tickling. We traded material and in general discussed ideas and the merits of different types of tickling. In terms of collecting information on the subject, I actually believe one reaches a point of saturation after a while. I guess one's brain can only absorb so much. If the Internet had been in action in those days, I may have reached the saturation point more quickly, but I don't think this would have decreased my desires to actually tickle.

Now that I'm in my 50's, the urge to tickle is still a part of me, although it is somewhat less intense than it once was. But I still come to this forum at least once a day, so it should be obvious that the basic motivation remains, even though it is less 'compelling' these days. Will it ever fully go away? I don't know...I have not lived that long yet.

this discription of an obsession bares no likeness to my "ideas" about tickling. so i will change my answer to never.

but thoughts of tickling/being tickled are part and parcel of who I am, and are a regular feature of my day.(as evidenced by how bloody often I come here! LOL). I'd have to say tickling is but one part(though a big part) of my personality and interests, like my love for animals, my desire to educate children, my interest in things Celtic and Medieval. During sleep, however,esp in that period between wakefulness and sleep, my ticklish desires often manifest themselves in shivery, toe curling dreams of ticklish situations!LOL
