I recently told my boyfriend that I have a tickling fetish, and he took it very well. However, even though he knows I like it, he still hasn't tried tickling me at all. It is somewhat frustrating, because sometimes he will get close, like when he lightly drags his fingers on my arm. I'm fairly ticklish and even things like that tickle me, but I wish he would tickle me more, and in places that would actually get a laughing response. I figured after I told him, he would start trying it out but I'm starting to think he's just clueless as to how to go about it. Any help? Thanks.

My Suggestion

My suggest would be to sit with him while he's watching TV. Then turn your body around so that you can rest your feet in his lap (whether you're barefooted or have socks on). Give him a playful kick or use your toes to pinch his belly. Then see what he does. Good Luck!

Maybe he thinks, because you said you have a 'ticking fetish', that you like to tickle people. So he's probably waiting for you to tickle him rather than the other way round. Some people, when they are ticklish, don't like to admit it 🙂

Sounds to me like the poor guy just did not connect to the intent of telling him you have a tickle fetish. He knows what tickling is, but may not have a clue about fetishes and their need to be indulged.

You were open and upfront about informing him that you have a tickle fetish. Now help him along to understand that your intent for telling him is for him to start tickling you.

Tell him not to worry if he does not get how to play along right away, you can coach him.
