ok seriously... what is with all these hurricanes? we had charley, frances, one other one before those that was pretty weak.. barely missed ivan... and now.. THERES ANOTHER ONE HEADED RIGHT FOR FLORIDA...

It seems to me that most of us down here feel like we have bullseyes on our backs. I'm almost tempted to follow Dave Barry's advice and move to Nebraska until Halloween!

Ya, this would be awful. Like awaiting an execution or something. I'd do what Louis did~up your homeowners or renters coverage, gather your friends, family and pets AND all your "irreplaceable" (sp?) sentimental belongings and get the heck to someplace safe! Take care!

Well, they had just announced that Jeanne was downgraded to a tropical storm, so that's good news. Hey ssteph, you said you wanted rain, come to Florida😀

And to think, they only get 4 major hurricanes a year. I feel bad for them because Florida isn't really a state, its a peninsula😀

Looks like Jeanne is shifting gears. So, Florida will finally catch a break. Thank God! The new projections look to bring it more northerly. Hmmmm....a possible northeast landfall if it turns in rather than getting pushed out to sea? Time will tell.
