With fetishes involving inanimate and human made products, I doubt we're hardwired. I the first few years of a life have an incredible amount of influence on a persons life. Funny, I had the same experience at the same age, and about the same episode all the more (from your description, since I have no access to Youtube). I too have been very impressed by that scene, the first time that I recall being aroused by something.

I believe we are "hardwired", like you say. I think watching that tickle torture scene made you realize something that had been already there, as opposed to have "imprinted" a fetish on you. One example out of million possible: if a hetero guy (or teen) watches gay porn all day long, no matter how many he watches, it will not turn him gay. I think that you don't choose your fantasies, rather they choose you, sort of. This is only my personal opinion though, as I have made no studies in the matter. I know that some people think that everything we are is a social construction, but I just don't buy it.

When I was about six or seven, I came across a video cassette that had a taping of a children's show, probably dating from the late 80s or early 90s. (Possibly it was on local broadcast in Ohio.)
