You've obviously never seen that episode of I Was A Teenage Robot where Jenny is programed to be ticklish.

neither do human beings who are not ticklish. They are missing out on feeling one wonderful sensation!. :shrug:
Its extremely sad. I think that even if a robot was programmed to be ticklish it may not know the difference. Unless it had AI and felt emotions.

When the CNS and ANS are fully understood and eventually replicated... they will know!
When minds can be linked, those who are not ticklish will plug their brains into those who are ticklish and are being tickled just to know... scary thought!
