I gained three pounds LOOKING at this

Okay now that I see this thing for like the 50th time, I'd try it on two conditions. If that bullshit sauce was honey mustard, and if KFC wasn't so nasty. But my opinion could be void because I'm pregnant. Needless to say since it meets neither of those conditions, I pass mine along to slackabitch.

Due to the fact your pregnant, you should want it EVEN MORE then the handful of others that now crave this. God I want one of these.

All hail this wonderful creation :bowing::bowing::bowing:

I should make my own film and only eat these for a month. Oh god, it would be wonderful. Anyone want to fund my project?

I think I just had an orgasm.

JAY!! FIRE UP THE TRUCK! WE'RE GOING TO THE COLONEL'S!!!!!!!!

You and me both buddy.

They're only offering it in a few select "test market" states, and I haven't seen anything about them here in MA.

I hate this state. No fried chicken sandwiches, All the fun firearms are banned, we thought lite-brites of Enignot and Urr were bombs, and its a tickler's sausage-fest.

If it ain't Black Angus, it ain't nothin'.

(Bella reminded me of this bit Patton used to do as well.)

Eh, let him talk out of his spotty carb-addicted hindquarters; the Atkins results speak for themselves :happyhop:

LOL!

Excuse me ladies, but I only eat complex carbohydrates; you know, the carbs that help with digestion and brain function. :boogie:

Ah, you mean the carbs encouraged on Atkins? Us too, good for you

My sincerest apologies, Bella. I didn't realize that the Atkins diet evolved into a well balanced plan. I was under the impression that it was protein only.

I do worship you, ya know? :bowing:

That sandwich makes me want to diet just looking at it....wow...just when you thought that couldn't make something even worse for you they succeed.

LOL you're a goofball :Kiss2:

That's why I can get a little crabby about Atkins though, a lot of people make fun of it without knowing what it's really about. In reality, Atkins folks eat a ton of high quality vitamin-rich veggies and fruits, and we dump the crap like high fructose corn syrup and Wonder Bread :cool2:

O.O :disgust: *BLEH* I just threw up in my mouth a little. ( I think I'll be in a tango with the toilet for the rest of today) :faint:

That is the most disgusting thing I have ever seen .
ROFLMAO.

So you've never been in a McDonalds, a Burger King, or a Wendy's, before, and *seen* their burgers? Seriously? You've never seen a double-patty bacon cheeseburger, i.e. a Whopper or a Big Mac, oozing with some sort of special sauce?

No. Two newspapers estimated that amount. KFC stated that it's at or under 600.

LMAO....of course KFC did.

What is more marketable to naive fast food eaters, 1200 or 600 calories? If fast food chains don't care about what they put in their foods, what makes you think that they are concerned about the fabrication of calorie counts?

Come one now...the chicken "buns" alone are about 600 calories.

I'm gonna see if I can get some of these to bring to Bella's. And then I'm gonna eat them in front of all of you. :mwahaha:

Actually, KFC received a record amount of complaints from people after the introduction of grilled chicken who were worried that the company was jumping on the 'less unhealthy' fast food bandwagon and was getting rid of its original recipe. I hear a number of these complaints myself; they outnumber most of the other complaints we receive, collectively, even the phony "my food was cold; I know I ate it all anyway, but now I want more for free" complaints. Most people don't care about, or ever check, the calorie count; I've been with different franchises for a total of four years now, and I've had two people ask me for nutritional information at the store level.

The chicken 'buns' are original recipe strips. I work at a KFC; I'm an assistant manager. We aren't part of the test market for this, but we've already got the new flat strips that will be used; we received some cut that way by mistake. That picture is much-exaggerated in size; the thing is the size of a snacker if it goes on those--KFC's 99-cent chicken sandwich. The one that's gone in four bites. There's nowhere near 600 calories in the chicken alone.

Honestly, man. If they lie about the calorie counts, they're in deep shit. Seriously. You think this sort of thing isn't enforced? I don't know everything that goes on at the corporate level (very little, actually, since I work at a franchise) but we don't even lie when we're taking the temperature of individual batches of strips coming out of the fryer; I've seen someone get fired for trying, and corporate KFC's inspections are a great deal more strict than those of the outside agency that the franchise hires (or the health department's).

My initial reaction to this news article, aside from laughing at other initial reactions? "WTF, fuckers got BACON? And SLICED CHEESE!!" I'm considering a transfer 🙂

EDIT: I'm guessing, by the looks of you, that you don't exactly go for quadruple stackers and such either; that's a Burger King burger with four patties, bacon, cheese, and a special sauce. Wendy's has its Baconator, which is similar, and they've always had three- and four-patty options. Trust me, nothing KFC has can approach what the other fast food joints have had for years.

People are one of two ways on health conscious: they eat healthy reliably, or they don't give the slightest of "damns" whatsoever. The latter may think they're doing well, or literally not care, but either way it amounts to the same thing. "Health conscious" at KFC is someone who'll never read the nutritional information, who buys one of these new... alright, they do look rather disgusting... things, then buys a house salad and a diet soda and thinks they're doing good by themselves. I see those every day too; I see this to the point where I'd like to lock the doors and scream at everybody in the lobby... but, then, I've had my share of Baconators (always with a diet, though, so it's okay).
