For as long as I can remember, I have always noticed that most women swing their arms when they walk. Usually it is only one arm (due namely to the fact that the other is carrying something), but on occasion I will see you swinging both arms as well. In all cases it is in an energetic carefree fasion. Women swinging their arms is rather obviously not the same as when a man does it. Men seem to be more robotic about it.
As my natural curiosity and boredom was piqued, I decided to spend the better part of a day attempting this female swing in hopes that I might find the appeal to doing this. Yes, I understand that boys and girls are biologically and physically different, so, yes, I am aware that the end result would be different but I had to try anyhow. All I got from this was sore pectoral muscles and quite winded after all was said and done.
Ultimately, my question is: Why do you do it? Is it a propulsion thing or an energy pump thing? Are you biologically conditioned to do it to keep flies away?
I find it very graceful and wonderous to a small degree, but am still not sure what it is that is so naturally appealing to women.
Apologies for my ignorance beforehand.
