I did laugh when Shawn super-kicked his manager. I actually wasn't expecting it. Seeing the kitchen scene just made me think too much of Mickey Rourke working in a deli in the Wrestler, and I didn't think it would be that "in your face".

However, if the DX story line is coming back up again, I'll sure as shit tune back in. 😀

I heard the reason DX is back is because now that Shawn is back its the start of his farewell tour leading up to his final match at WM26 . Same thing with Undertaker when he returns its gonna be his farewell tour leading up to WM26 .


I really wish DX would turn heel the whole face gimmick was funny and still is but like others have said its predictable . I really wish they would do a build up to DX vs Brothers of Distruction . Make DX screw with Kane *costing him matches and whatnot* and just being a pain in his ass for a couple weeks then have one week DX just start beating on Kane leading up to Undertaker's return and having the storyline progress from there leading up to a match at the next big PPV .

Anyway, I kinda think DX could be a decent thing, but they need to do a heel turn. I know that they wanted to push them as a face because of HBK and Triple H and such, but then that's just what I think and haven't even watched it for a long while so I guess I don't know enough to say.

One of the problems with DX is that they always take on a team that has no chance of winning. Did anybody think the Spirit Squad would beat them? Does anybody think Dibiase and Rhodes have a chance in hell of winning at SummerSlam?

WWE needs to go back to doing first blood matches, hell in the cell matches which leads to massive bleeding and the bikini/pudding/creampie type matches. It lost it's touch when it started toning down the violence/sex appeal. Much like UFC lost a lot when they stopped making people bleed/breaking bones.

As for the UFC, they had to adjust the rules. No state sporting commission would sanction it otherwise. It's not the no-rules game it used to be, but I'd rather have (and prefer) the UFC the way it is than no MMA in North America at all.

I understand it's trying to be made more PG for the younger fans. But this will have the opposite effect. People started watching because it got more violent and because they had pudding matches. Now they have the fan base and are toning it down. Which is already backfiring.

Some cable/satellite companies have a channel called "black belt tv" which has Muoy Tai fighting if you'd rather see blood and broken bones.

Pro wrestling also falls under the state sporting commissions so they have to adhere to certain rules too. Hence why ECW couldn't run explosion matches

It's additionally why there's no more swearing. They might have gotten rid of Ron Simmons and his one word promos because of that. Have you also noticed that the Divas are more clothed and there are no more Bra and Panties matches. Cena no longer makes penis and vagina jokes. They even toned down his finishers from the F-U and STF-U to the Attitude Adjuster and STF.

This whole PG campaign is stupid and takes the edge off an already dull and formulaic product to cater to Soccer Moms who don't give a damn about wrestling... and as long as TNA continues to suck, this is what we'll be stuck with for the long haul. The only reason I've been watching lately is because there's nothing else on. When Monday Night Football, Heroes and 24 start up, it's bye-bye WWE.
