I see why others have left TMF now

Hello ..this is indeed a sad day as I report that I have returned from attending Nest and I had a great time meeting everyone,spending time and enjoying tickling fun..
Yet this was my First Nest and may be my last Nest,possibly even my last Gathering as I was thinking I had real friends that cared,enjoyed my company and those friends knew I am special in a number of ways..
I have been reading through the posts in regards to Nest,and I was there yet I see no posts saying that others enjoyed my company so I am wondering if I really was in a room with others who enjoyed my presence or rather if some people wished I wasn;t there at all..People say going to nest is being a part of a family where all are accepted,loved,I sure don;t feel loved right now....
It has got now to the point where I am feeling ignored and my habit of posting regularly on TMF may suffer as well..

I wouldn't let that first NEST get to you. I am sure people loved your company although cannot explain why you weren't mentioned by name specifically but then again, there were quite a few whose name was not flat out mentioned. A tough one since there was about.....60/70 or so people there.
Hell, there were a bunch of folks that shygirl and I did not get a chance to toture, I mean play with and there was disappointment that shygirl did not form her possie to tickle ME into insanity.
Probably would have been a whole lot better over all if everyone staying at the hotel made their reservations earlier so as we could / would have all been on the same floor and well......you could see the PLUS in that.

I wouldn't feel the way you do. I am sure it is not what you think but then I do not know the details nor was I there in the situations you were in.

I am truly sorry you are feeling like that Cutie, as a Brit I obviously wasn't there but I will say this from the observations I have made and what I have felt from reading the threads about NEST. Given that there were so many people there it reads as if there were actually only 2 women present from all the hype and talk about them and as an outsider looking in I can see why others may feel that their presence was of little value to the event.

I often feel as a female British Lee that it is a waste of my time posting on there cos it really does feel to me that unless you are called Steph or Kitten, as a female you are totally wasting your time there. JMO

(and that is in no way a detrimental comment to them as they are both lovely lasses it's just an observation),

Thank you for your comforting words ticklemad,I have been a member of TMF for over 2 years now with some 6,000 posts and while I wouldn;t call myself a steph,kitten ..I would say that I thought myself not as popular as others but still considered a regular female lee,ler of which other people were somewhat fond of as I consider myself enjoyable company,wonderfully ticklish with a nice laugh...But,it makes me wonder me being myself if others were as excited,enjoying themselves spending time with me as much as I was enjoying their company..

When I tried to defend myself, my posts would be deleted. Trons an asshole..Red is just following Trons steps..only as a brit though and the other guy..im not sure where he came from but he was just there to make my life tougher too..but this is the net..I dont let things get to me too much. You shouldnt either. Id gladly make a return if I had to defend someone i knew on that site..but i doubt that would ever happen.

Navel,I see your point in that I shouldn;t let things get to me but I am a really caring,sensitive person that is emotional at times when I see,feel that I
am not appreciated for who I am ..It;s only human to have feelings of wanting to be accepted and I do admit sometimes to not be able to read body language of others seeing who may like me or those that don;t want to be bothered by my company..I just wish alot of times that people would be upfront,straight forward with me letting me know where I stand with them.because if someone wanted me to be upfront,honest with them,I would...

I see what your saying,that if I wasn;t liked by others that I wouldn;t have been invited to Nest which I am grateful to know and have the opportunity to attend..
That is the thing TTD,that I feel that I don;t know how others see me ..and that in my opinion it is clear to me that you and shygirl are very well liked,loved as you both are wonderful special caring people that have been in the tickling community alot longer than me,and I am just beginning to participate more as Nest was my 2nd gathering ..
I also had alot of fun placing myself in stocks at Nest and seeing that a few ler's did make me happy by tickling my feet and they seemed to enjoy themselves and my laughter..I would have liked to have more Ler;s tickling me but I can understand that some people prefer to tickle those who they know and it takes time to build a friendship

You have to understand that these are people you know FROM THE NET!!! Anytime you let your internet life cross with your real life disaster is going to happen. My advice is look for people who have common interests around you geographically. I mean tying yourself up so your at the mercy of someone you only know by a dumb screen name???? Cmon! I hope you don't mind me lending you some advice. I'm sure you had a wonderful time at this gathering and thought I'd like to attend again. You met a lot of great people and some well you didn't really connect with but that's okay. If this meaning "gatherings" is something that you enjoy then don't cut your nose off to spite your face. There are a lot of people that have known one another for a very long time, and there are others who are new or new to the whole tickling scene.

If you feel good about yourself then why worry about what others think or see. Be yourself but don't throw away what you enjoy. If you don't want to go to another gathering then don't. I never met you but I'm sure you're a wonderful person.

People leave for many reasons NOT just because of the NEST or whatever you call it. They leave for a job, a move, marriage, warmer climate. I choose not to go to any gatherings. It's not for me. I like the one on one and I live a very private life.

I know I didn't offend just lending my insight on how you feel right now. Good luck, keep your chin up and seriously don't take offense to how others express themselves it's not always about you but about them.

There are a few reasons I've never gone to NEST...one of which is I don't go to the TMF so I wouldn't know most of the people there and they wouldn't know me. I think by now maybe some of them would recognize my name through my art cause I assume we have a lot of TMFers over here but still.
Perhaps for next NEST we could try to get a lot of TT members together so we have some friendly faces around us as well. 🙂

let the hollywood brother speak on this. Tron the hollywood brother do not know you but it seems you giving attitude to two of the hollywood brothers peeps in ticklishcutie39 and naveltickler. If this keeps up the hollywood brother will never ever grace the tmf with his presence. Now as far as the idea of NEST, the hollywood brother loves but the holllywood brother went over to the TMF and can see Ticklishcutie39 point of view. Leading up to NEST everyone posted how much they can't wait to meet her nad enjoy her. then now everyone is ignoring her post over there. This is not cool and believe me the hollywood brother know what is cool and what is not cool.

The hollywood brother think this is just one of many reasons why the TMF is the wcw of tickling and right here in the tickle theatre we have the real champs in the rickling prime. the hollywood brother think ticklishcutie39 should leavethe evil TMF for the good folks here at the theatre.

ness: Instead of invading NESt, lets do our own thing and have our own meeting in Sotuh Jersey. You got the miles of beaches, tons of hotel rooms and if you do it in wildwood, you got the best dam boardwalk on the east coast baby!

I'm not sure how something like that would go over, attendance wise. I only say that, because all the members here seem to be pretty spread out.

I can give you some personal experience on this, and it is very positive.

I mod at a music website, and the music is "freestyle" music. If you are not sure of what freestyle is, think 80's club music. Big names of freestyle, who crossed over to the pop charts, would be: Exposè, TKA, George LaMond, Sweet Sensation, The Cover Girls, Stevie B., Alisha. If you search those names on Amazon.com, you'll get the idea from the samples.

Right now, there are regions where freestyle is still popular. East Coast (NYC-NJ-Florida), West Coast (Ca) and a few other states (Tx, Az). While there are fans all over the world, the main concentrations are in those places.

We've gotten together at shows, clubs, pubs, and had a great time meeting, and made some really great friends. I've flown to Florida for a show, and met the Florida members. Some members from Mass, came to recent NYC shows. Everyone has always had a great time.

hey ness, the hollywood brother got some faith in you even if you do not in yourself. the way the good old all american hollywood brother sees it, you pick a place like atlantic city or wildwood. Then just pick a dae and let everyone get there own rooms. In wildwood it is very easy and safe to walk everywhere. If we want demostrations of toothbrushes or techniques, we just use one chaps hotel room. The hollywood brother thinks that with the giantic following you have here Ness, that you could lead us and then you can get to hear the millions and millions of tickle theatre members chanting your name ness. ooh yea! Now can not only ness but everyone else dig the vibe that the rock and roll tickle king known as the hollywood brother is putting out?
