I've just discovered I can't stand the sensation of dragging my own fingernails over the soles of my own feet!

What's up with that!?!?!? :blaugh:
 
Most people can't tickle themselves, but a few can. I saw it done by TMF member NJJen at a gathering in Albany. 😀
 
Well the desensitizing during tickling is a psycological thing. So it seems reasonable that if someone really like tickling they just wouldn't desensitize it.
 
I can personally attest to the wondrful fact that tickling oneself is quite enjoyable...I can tickle my own feet, sides and underams...it is quite effective. 🙂 :dog:

LOL thats also good 2 know. Imma need times and dates to when your gonna be tickling yourself next and Ill be sure and walk in so I can watch...lol.
 
I have tried tickling myself, and it does feel ticklish, but only in certain places, and Iam not ticklish in certain areas when I tickle myself, areas that Iam ticklish in if someone else tickles me.
For myself, I can tickle myself on my belly, midsection, ribs, and sides, and have it feel ticklish. However, whereas my feet are very ticklish if someone else tickles them, when I tickle my feet myself, they dont feel ticklish, so for me, self tickling is a "in certain spots" thing.

I've heard of people that say that they can tickle their own feet. I knew a girl when I was in middle school that could tickle her own feet, if she scratched an itch on her foot it would tickle really bad, and she hated it. She really didn't like being tickled, so I don't think it's always that they don't want to desensitise. she just couldn't

i can tickle my own feet, but i cannnn stop it. and i do when it gets too unbearable. i have people in this forum who can attest to the fact that yes i can make myself giggle while tickling my feet.

I know for a fact that can be done, and there are even a few that I have spoken too that were not aware that they might be able to do that. I have helped walk them though a way or two, sometimes three, LOL, in explaining how they might try. After they try, some were able to do it, some were not, but all had a fun time trying. So they have said, LOL. The moral here? I think it depends on not just how ticklish the person is, but how open minded one can be too. Of course this all started when I met my wife and she did that. I think thats what made me start asking others if they can. Just my two cents.

Hathh been ages - and I do recall how sensitive even having your socks removed is to your sweet feet.

I can tickle my feet with just lightly dragging or fluttering a fingertip when I am wearing thin cotton ankle socks,,and when I am barefoot putting lotion on my soles ,it tickles maddeningly..! :devil2: There are quite a few members here that can vouch that I can tickle my own feet when I have demonstrated it for some on the phone as well on webcam for a select few and most people that have met,seen me being tickled or tickled me themselves know just how extremely ticklish my feet are despite them being tiny

I can usually only tickle myself for a second, then the psychological shutdown kicks in :disgust:

I will tell you one thing that does work for a few seconds. If you have ticklish toes, try sticking them between the slots of a vent in your house while your A/C or heater is on. This tickles a lot more than you would think!
 
Hmm, this discovery puts me in an interesting position, as a frustrated, isolated wanna-be 'ler. I could make myself my own 'lee!

I could tie myself up and tickle my own feet until I scream "Uncle!" Then I could just ignore myself and just keep on tickling.

I draw the line at sucking my own toes, though. Eww!
 
The main problem with tickling myself is it tickles. The best way to tickle me is to tie me down so I can't stop you from tickling me. Otherwise, my natural reaction is to try and stop you -- not that I really want to, just can't help myself.
 
Well tickleshotel I have to say that after your reply to my Private Message from this post. I have to say a few things for all to read. Yes you can tickle yourself, and WOW what job at doing it. Let me tell all of you reading this, she is the real deal. WOW is all I can say after hearing what I heard the other day. This women is so ticklish on her feet that she did not even need a second to get started, as soon as she touched her feet, and it did not matter what she used, she starting with not just a laugh, but a loud hard laght, the never slowed down. She also can do that for a really good amount of time. I thought my wife was good at that, and she is, but what demo by tickleshotel. I think her and my wife will have to have a run off to see who is the best, LOL, but hey someone has to be the judge, lucky me. :veryhappy So with that said, thanks for the demo tickleshotel, I'm sure we will be talking more soon. For those who feel that this self tickling thing is ok, but comeon, it is not the real thing now will it ever be, well remember it is better than looking all night long on the internet for soemone, when this can be a very close second to the real thing. With women like tickleshotel and my wife, and yes I know of a few others, let me just say this, BRAVO :bouncybou

I've tried many things on the soles of my feet, toothbrushes, feather tipped vibrators, combs, hairbrushes, even a whisk broom, but the only way I can get myself to giggle is to sit in a position where my foot goes numb, then bounce it on the floor when the "Pins and Needles" start. If I have the will power to do it long enough, I will start to laugh, but it really, really tickles me, and sometimes I just can't take it.
 
I'm very not ticklish. lol. I have found, however, that if I am wearing thin dress socks, or something similar, if I am gentle, I can make myself grin a bit, and make my leg twitch. That's about it though.

I think you guys need to lock yourselves into a set of stocks so you can't escape your own tickling fingers. Don't forget to taunt yourself:

Well thanks again, it was nice and fun.
If your challenging others to contact me to demonstrate with me keeping time to see how long they can do that for and to see if they really can do this, then I guess I'm up for the job, lol, so who's next?? Are you the one who can top her or a few others that have done this?
