In addition to the vicarious enjoyment, it's helpful to hear - took me a while to figure out you could negoitate - that it wasn't just "take it or leave it'. Smart of you to read the situation and realize she was gonna come back to you or have a bad night financially. Sounds like you did yourself a great deal - I wouldn't have thought you could get more than 1 hour for $200. I once tried to negotiate a custom video with a company and was told that most of them get 200-250/hour. I was also told that the big name (at the time) I asked about (Whitney Prescott) wouldn;t consider anything less than a $600 minimum guarnateed.

Two questions - first, what was the higher price she quoted that you turned down. Second, if you actually used the term "aging porn star" in negotiating her down - man, you have balls of steel!

I figured she'd either

A: Hope business would improve, not likely in Toledo on a tuesday night, especially since in Michigan lap dancing is a more body contact sport. In which case if I wanted to spend the money I'd head over to Windsor and tickle an escort for the same price.

As for the steel balls comment, hell, maybe I'm just gutless but while I could look at ther and think aging porn star, I don;t think I coudl say it to her face. I knew that most porn stars, epecially the aging ones, will go the "headliner route" and do clubs. Must be a tough way to live - town to town to town - but any sympathy I have for them is tempered. Saw an article in the newspaper about strippers. Now while any one with a brain can understand that their feigned interest in the guys is financial; it was revealing to realize that a substantial number of them view the guys with absolute contempt.

Well, in the end, everyone's getting something that they want so I guess it's a good thing. BTW - the Windsor you mention, is that Windsor, Ontario? Never been there but I was in Detroit for a weekend and heard raves about Windsor's legendary good (and relatively cheap) strip clubs.
