Island boy...

Check this out gang:
http://www.obd-onboarddiagnostics.com/Aquada.htm

This is my first priority purchase if I ever surface that kind of money. Here on Long Island there's NO way off other than the water if NYCity gets hit or even in a natural disaster. What better device to park in the garage?

Besides, I think it would attract a few stares everywhere you go, not to mention the fun of driving down to the beach and just not stopping as you approached the water..lol.

Ok...I really didn't like the Original PT Cruiser...it was ok.

OH yeah and going back a few posts...I once test drove a Porsche Boxter(the US Convertible, see a trend) and that thing was FAST!!!
But not as fast as the 911 Turbo from what I hear!
Taking turns in the Boxter was "interesting" to say the least!!!
And that was in a manual transmission, I can't imagine the 6 speed!

The 911 TURBO? Shit, what does that run on, rocket fuel??

I remember my experience with the 911. It took a good couple of minutes to adjust to how fast it really was and when I did it was an experience second to none. Thank God it was equipped with a scanner or I would have been paying tix up the wazu.

I told my cuz that if he ever sells it, I would b interested but he traded it in for a mini van a few years later. That was two kids later.

VW Beetle...old and new...thats all i want....my birthday is coming up if anybody just wants to drop them both on my doorstep😉

Hey Natural, if you like that Ferrari, try this one:
...the ultimate, most desired Ferrari- the 250 GTO. Like 'The Honeymooners', only thirty nine were made, from '62 through '64. There were so few around, that back in the late '80s, some sneaky, enterprising, expert people started making counterfeits, and the counterfeits were so well done, that they were fooling Enzo's people. The car is visually uncomplicated, and yet magnificent. I'll never have one, of course; I'll be content with the diecast versions I have in my basement.
I believe it was either Car and Driver or Road and Track that had a race between the Ferrari and the new Pontiac GTO in 1964. As predicted, the Pontiac dominated on the straightaway, but failed in the comparison in the sharp turns...

However, I may have to break down and buy the Chrysler PT Cruiser Convertible!!!

I really like the look of the convertible!!!
And for $21,000 start it's not out of reach!

Ummm... not wishing to be rude or anything but is there any particular reason you want a hearse with no roof? 😀 And $21,000! If I had that sort of cash for a drop-top it'd be down the nearest BMW dealer for a second-hand M3 Convertible. Oh, and another grand or so for the trick tyres that the current M3 CSL to go Porsche baiting 😉

Oh god, the latest 911's alright (actually it just might be the best supercar in the world right now, excluding the Hypercars) but the older ones *shudder*... And the Turbo was just a sure-fire way to an early grave unless you were a really, REALLY good driver. There's an independent Porsche dealer just up the road from me and at least once a month I'll spot an old-style 911 missing large chunks of its bodywork as some careless owner lifted off in the middle of a bend and that rear-mounted engine acted like a huge pendulum. Do not pass go, do not collect 200 pounds, please proced straight to the scene of the accident. Certainly I consider the current 911 to be the biggest triumph in history of engineering over design 😀

The Boxster, well, the smaller engine versions anyway, I've always thought to be a little bit of an odity. Nice handling little cars and all but... not exactly rocket ship quick and even the newer ones struggle to shake off 'normal' cars like, for example, the Honda S2000 (if any car that revs to 9,000 can be considered normal that is). Heck, even my old, heavy and automatic 5 series has eaten a couple of Boxsters... one in the traffic light grand prix that is London, one on the moutain roads in Wales (wussy tourist driver who got distracted by the 200 foot drop to the valley below).
