I'm Engaged

I'm thrilled to share with you that Marty and I are engaged. We had talked quite a bit about the possiblity of getting married and then he surprised me one morning with an incredibly beautiful ring. Married or not I wasn't going to let him go again and this just makes it even sweeter.

He's an amazing man who is so loving and such a giving man and I am so blessed to have him. I told him I almost feel like we should be celebrating an anniversary rather than a wedding since we've known each other for over 35 years.

No date is set. We're not in a hurry. We have lots more to focus on rather that a wedding right now.

I'm a lucky lady to have such a wonderful man!

We'll be heading to California soon so Marty can meet my family. We're going to have a party with his family and mine so everyone can get to know each other. Just hope it's not too overwhelming for him since my family is pretty huge but he's strong. He can handle it. LOL
