but if you had your choice to meet three people, who would they be and why?
My choices are
Bill Parcells:
I think it's a crime that he is not in the Hall of Fame. Here is a coach which took three teams, who were the laughingstock of the NFL and turned them into contenders. the Giants won two superbowls, and were a perennial playoff team during most of his tenure. The Patriots went to the superbowl two years after they finished 1-15, and the Jets made it to the AFC championship also two years after finishing 1-15. He gets the most out of players, which alot of them were sleepers in the draft, and went on to have decent NFL careers.
Sly Stallone:
I mostly identify with him from his Rocky movies (which are my all time favorites). He shows that anything is possible. He is truly an inspiring person.
Eddie Murphy:
One of the funniest men on the planet. I just want to meet him so I can laugh my @$$ off and forget about the day to day stress that goes on.
I know I said three but I also want to add Phil Simms to the list as an honorable mention. A much maligned QB till Parcells came in and made him into a legit QB who went on to have a borderline Hall of Fame career (OK, maybe I'm a little biased), but there is someting to be said about that. He never gave up. Plus, he seems like a true gentleman.
